i thought they would have fixed the missing activity badge issue by now and released 12.0.1 and fix whatever else is important in 12.0.2, etc.
Apple is waiting for the two weeks to be up so we cant return our new phones LOL
Well, so much for the "Netflix pattern".
Bug fixes are probably treated differently. They probably began development on 12.0.1 once the GM was seeded to the new phones, so-mid August. No sense in starting a bug fix until you know what the latest build will be. 12.1 on the other-hand probably started months ago.doesnt apple start working on 12.0.1 well before the 12.0 public release? they been testing it internally for awhile i assume?
The Netflix pattern broke long ago, it’s just a joke now.Well, so much for the "Netflix pattern".
We've even seen it happen over the weekend too. So in terms of just possibilities, it could really be at any time.we have seen updates monday-friday with iOS right? so it could be out anyday of the week.
Well why does so many have the yellow tint issue my iPad Pro is perfect my max OLED is terrible
Not that this guy is the authority but apparently there is an issue and it must be software related.iPhones are individually calibrated, Apple isn’t messing with screen calibrations with iOS updates.
Thats referring to the iPhone X though, Dan is complaining about his Max screen. There were a few threads floating around about people noticing a change in their X screen right after updating. I foresee an update fixing that, but not changing the tint of a Max screen. Not that this guy is the authority but apparently there is an issue and it must be software related.

are you having any connectivity issues with your XS?Thats referring to the iPhone X though, Dan is complaining about his Max screen. For the record my XS screen is about perfect in my eyes. So I don't know how they would isolate "good" displays from "bad" or iOS 12 affected ones.
Yes. AT&T service is 1-2 bars less than normal. WiFi speeds are 50% less than normal. Resetting network settings helps for a few hours then it goes back to being bad.are you having any connectivity issues with your XS?

Bummer....hopefully they fix this soon...Yes. AT&T service is 1-2 bars less than normal. WiFi speeds are 50% less than normal. Resetting network settings helps for a few hours then it goes back to being bad.
Probably why 12.0.1 is taking longer than expected.Bummer....hopefully they fix this soon...

Well, on the other hand, is there really an "expected" when it comes to something like that, especially when we are talking about the last update coming out just last week?Probably why 12.0.1 is taking longer than expected.
Yeah but the point was to the quote of "Apple isn’t messing with screen calibrations with iOS updates.". So apparently they can and do according to that article. Even if it was referring to the X. Who knows though, could be a handful of faulty screens or glue or whatever affecting a certain run of devices. OR could be a software calibration issue that could be addressed later via iOS. Maybe the XsMs2 will fix it with a new OLED+s screenThats referring to the iPhone X though, Dan is complaining about his Max screen. Yes. Since iOS 7 it’s been the week after the public release. So there is now an “expectation” on our part for Apple to deliver small bug fixes shortly after the public release of a X.0 builds.Well, on the other hand, is there really an "expected" when it comes to something like that, especially when we are talking about the last update coming out just last week?
I totally get where you are coming from, but I feel like an iOS update messing up screen calibration is a giant can of worms going forward. Doesn’t sound fun.. My primary concern is those with screens that don’t want it to be changed in anyway.Yeah but the point was to the quote of "Apple isn’t messing with screen calibrations with iOS updates.".
