This is a major bummer. I have stuggled a bit with multitasking in iPadOS. That one feature would make things so much easier.

I was thinking about that. Does the home gesture work on the buttonless iPads in the middle of that flow?

I will say explain this again: this is not a big, but is like this if you have automatic updates enabled. If you disabled automatic updates, you will get the badge. This is not a big but a feature. Stop complaining.

This is the first time I post about the badges, so it wasn't a complain, but an observation, but thanks for the extremely useful information.

If that's all it was, they would've made it a 13.0.1, IMO.

Normally, I'd say you are correct, but these are not minor features being added back in. If we had never known about them from the early 13.0 betas, we'd think these were huge additions to the OS. I think they should be viewed in that light.

Oh good lord. SMB is broken. Again. My existing connection was empty so I ejected it. I then made another connection and it said, "A file of that name already exists". Alrighty then. Tried again and no error but it won't appear in the sidebar.

Google Hangouts definitely crashes in iOS 13.1 beta 1. Does anyone know if it crashes in 13.0 beta 8 as well? I went straight from 12.4 to 13.1 today.

it was working fine for me on beta 8. it completely crashes on 13.1.

Widgets expand as before for me. Just swipe up. Click on the little arrow in the upper right hand corner of the weather widget and I get the next few hours. iPP 11

Maybe it was posted, but I’ve found when u have Notifications in the Lock Screen, I cant swipe to clear them. When I swipe, it wants to open the camera.

Swipe from closer to center of the notification. See that makes a difference.

If 13.1 is released as a Public Beta prior to iOS 13 GM is the general consensus that those who have installed will be waiting until official release of either 13.1.x or 13.2 to exit the Beta process?

This beta is a hot mess. It's crashing apps left and right (one example: It broke Bumble). Oh boy.

I noticed two changes.

1. In the Music App there's now an option to "Undo Suggest Less Like This". The "Love" option is also gone from the menu if you have tapped "Suggest Less Like This".

I like this change because I wasn't sure if "Suggest Less Like This" was just a renamed "Dislike" or if you could repeatedly tap it.

2. Devices in AirDrop are now shown as the actual devices and not as avatars anymore.

It seems you can now optionally update your iCloud photo library for one hour without your device being plugged into a power supply. I don’t remember that before.

Bumble works fine on my XS.

Look at it...it’s displaying blurred boxes instead of Message suggestions.

I see that too. The imessage suggestions have disappeared and are now just grey boxes.

Also, popup replies with apps and messages seem to be messed up. Can't reply or they won't go away after a reply.

Something tells me this beta should not have gone out.
