I did a network reset after doing some speed test that ping was between 70 and 80ms. After the reset, ping is between 20-40ms using the same servers.

Did you have the same issue? I’m a Visible Wireless subscriber so I thought maybe it was a carrier issue since I’m now on 38.0. I just did a hard reset and speeds and pings are the same for me.

Can someone give me clarification on something? How in the heck is anyone supposed to:
A. Move to the Gold Master of 13.0 when it is released
B. Buy an iPhone 11 and restore their backup if they are running 13.1 and can't backward backup

Are we done with iOS 13 updates? Because if we are that's a problem as its still pretty buggy.

I'm completely lost as to why Apple would do this. It makes absolutely no sense.

Reminder app - Add people for Sharing that was broken in 13b8 is resolved in 13.1.

So I've downloaded the beta 8 ipsw file, but my Mac won't let me restore it. It says a software update is needed to complete the restore, but when I click "download" it says "Can't install the software because it's not available on the Software Update server."

Other ideas of how to downgrade to beta 8?

Why are you downgrading?

This is exactly why I decided to not update today... I just removed the beta profile to avoid an update all together until the final 13.0 version is released. I’m always a day 1 purchaser of new iPhones and want to avoid any complications or data loss.

Some have suggested 13.1 will be released on launch day, but I highly doubt that. I expect it to launch much sooner than a normal x.1 launch, but still at least a couple weeks after 13.0.

Some have also suggested the beta 8 is the GM and that is almost certainly false. They are still working on 13.0, but they can’t run two simultaneous 13.x betas at the same time. They are limited on what they can change now with 13.0 anyway, so why not use the massive pool of testers to test 13.1.

Watch battery life. I'm not sure when beta 13.1 will get an update that doesn't completely suck with WatchOS.

I am keeping my watch at watchOS 6 b8 but upgraded to 13.1. Just delete the beta profile in the usage part of the watch settings app and you won’t have an issue from that point on.

iOS 13 beta is by far my worst beta experience since I begin to try those beta's back on iOS 9.0 beta's. 13.1 mean that they couldn't fix 13.0 in time for new phone productions and Apple knows iOS 13.0 will not be as polished as they expected so they continues to bring new beta builds but they have no choice to already work on the next iOS 13 build already.

I rely a lot on smart invert colours and this new beta didnt fix anything. Smart invert colours are broken in iOS 13 and its not working properly. In fact, as of now, iOS 13 is a downgrade for me over iOS 12.4. Its realy not good and for the first time, I'll not upgrade on a major iOS release on my main devices when it will release and I'll have to wait until they fix critical bugs that I need to work properly for my needs.

EVERYOBDY WHO HAS ISSUE WITH THEIR PHONES CRASHING, blurred crap etc etc WIPE THE PHONE and restore from ICLOUD!!!!!! and thats it! this beta is very stable for me on my MAX, i dont have any issues with blured stuff or message crashing

If that’s the fix it’s a fail and should be reported. End goal is good OTA for GM.

Look at my screen? I don’t remember having another option there, I always used. Specific time I set, that sunset to sunrise feature was there for me several betas back but I haven’t seen it since I don’t think, maybe it never worked to begin with I don’t know

No issue here

Not to get the thread off topic, but, lol, that’s been Apple under most of Tim Cook’s leadership. A complete lack of brand sense.

Apparently the lesson learned in hardware (AirPower) didn’t translate to software:
overpromising and under-delivering is dangerous.

Disappointing to see some halo features of iOS 13 pushed to a point release.
