Yes.

Not sure what this has to do with my experiences.

I guess I should preface all future posts with a disclaimer that I'm not speaking for anybody but myself and my own experiences.

Yep. Different experiences for different devices with different setups and usage cases. I was simply asking you what your specific issues were and if your initial condescending question was meant to infer I should remember what you've posted in the previous 18 pages of messages then I apologize for my lack of a photographic memory.

Polished for you != polished release. A polished release means it’s polished for everyone. Which, if you have read any of this thread, is not the case.

in the past battery drains have been attributed partially to the iphone inefficiently pinging the network (icloud) . a network reset has done the trick for me in the past

I had done that before that screenshot occurred, as my WiFi was not connecting to my home one. So nope.

Like I initially said; your definition and mine differ. Not condescending in any fashion. I am surprised reading these last couple of threads you do not see why some of us have issues and are concerned. The wide ranging differences in basic core app functionality for the same devices or even across devices is a giant red flag for me.
I am running this on an IPP and an XS Max. Linked into this is my AW4, rMB 2015, iPad mini 4, iPhone 7, 7+, and X. All but my two are on the latest released version. Just for clarity my main device is a Razer.

If you would like a breakdown of my issues I will put it together and publish later.
For @Knowlege Bomb - here is a breakdown of the issues I am seeing in PB2. COuple of points going in:
1. I have done the Mail app delete and reinstall. It fixed some bugs, uncovered others
2. I consider not being able to rely on an OTA (common preferred method) Update a failure.

Here is my current “ugh” list (Note - Ugh, not UGG whose products I really like).

IPP 12.9 G2 PB2

Screen is far less sensitive. Except for Safari - seems to easily trigger links even when finger scrolling. As I have been having issues with screen touch on this device (on IPP number 4) this may not be wholly release related.

Messages are forwarded from my XS Max - only iOS messages are showing on the IPP.

Spellcheck / Spellcorrect even worse. Will update words sfter you have moved passed them. Turned it off on IPP.

Siri will trigger based on sounds from the TV or radio. Only has to be a word that sort of souds like “Siri” or “Hey Siri”. Intermittent

Recently used apps in Dock will change out or leave a blank spot without launching an app

Mail badge vs accounts vs All unread require a manual refresh before they agree

Messages - unable to delete images.

Messages - frequently unable to send MMS to noniOS devices or it takes a long time to upload

XS Max PB2

Screen is very sensitive for links. Just have to get finger close.

Intermittently music controls on Lockscreen fail to do anything

Spellcheck / Spellcorrect even worse.

Siri will trigger based on sounds from the TV or radio.

Had to log out / in to iCloud to get it to work correctly. Worked fine on IPP.

Calendar - meeting alerts do not always sound. Infrequently meetings are listed 2x.

Mail badge vs accounts vs All unread require a manual refresh before they agree.

Mail - have an Exchange account that pushes. The badge will be correct but the account shows nothing new until I access it.

Mail - images may / may not autodownload prior to opening email item.

Messages - unable to delete images. Very frequently unable to send MMS to noniOS devices or it takes a long time to upload
NOTE: this has been improving over the last coupole of days on the iPhone but not the IPP

Will find calls in recently missed with device never ringing. At times the AW4 will ring but not the iPhone

Apps that have autoupdated and reside in task manager, may crash on launch at splash screen

Saving an image in messages from the image list will take you back to the thread root instead of image list

AW4 - 5.3.1

Call indicator on watch for calls on XS Max are working very sporadically Most time no indication that I have a call ringing in.

Call may ring in on watch but not on iphone. Sound. The phone mwill show an incoming. call on screen.

Hope this helps. I do a lot of calls, mail, messages, images, and various work apps on my phone and utilize my IPP as an alternative work / project device

By that standard, there has never been a polished release, as complaints in these threads are omnipresent.

I agree. There have some that come close. Others never seem to get there.
I think the term “polished” should not be used as it means something different to many.

No, I mean it. I was pointing out the absurdity of using the phrase ‘unpolished’.
Fair enough.

Look, I don't want this to be a continuous war between us. Can we dial it back and see how things fall out tomorrow?

Hey, I was being genuine and respectful earlier by saying thanks for backing up my point. You then kicked it up.

try deleting images from the messages app. they either randomly return or don’t delete at all. tested on ipad pro, iphone xs max, iphone 8
Sure, you can't select multiple images and even one at a time they don't actually delete. But for those who don't delete images from their message history (maybe because they have the setting to delete all messages after a period of time, or because they're swimming in icloud storage) they don't care that something they don't use doesn't work :)

I deleted a bunch of photos ten minutes ago, a few singles and a couple at a time. They’re gone. I’ll update if they return. iPhone XR.

As one of those who has been having problems with this (XS Max PB2) I went back in tonight and found the following:
Messages from iOS I was able to delete 1 or more images.
Messages from non-iOS (Android) the trashcan was greyed out.

Argh

If I have any returns or something else strange I’ll post it.

What are they saying about the lyric visualiser not being live yet? I'm on 13.0 beta 8 and it is working? Has it been removed for 13.1 betas?
I read a different story about that. (Will try to find a link to it). But it sounds like what they actually meant to say was they received a LOT of requests to bring the color option to be an option for default. Instead of only being about to get the colors by viewing the lyrics at the same time, you will be able to have the colors on as default for the background instead of the white/black background in light/dark mode. I myself made a request about that at one point because I liked how it looked. Sent that suggestion in when I had a bug in the early betas where you tapped to view lyrics, but they wouldn't show up...but the background colors from the album art would.

For what it’s worth, this beta is running super smooth and fast on my iPhone 7. I can no doubt say it’s the fastest OS version this phone has ever seen.
