I have a 16GB 6S and it doesn't stutter. If it doesn't stutter on my phone it shouldn't stutter on anyone else's. As you've already done a setup-as-new I'm not sure what else to suggest.

I’m confused. The article briefly mentions iOS, but tells you how to use dark mode on Android. Am I missing something?

The article was really intended to demonstrate that its coming on Gmail soon to iOS. It usually starts on Android but gets here soon.

Whenever I pickup the iPhone in the morning, and it gets unlocked, all mail notifications present in the notification centre disappear without any of them being clicked.
No other app notification disappears. The vanished mail notifications do not reappear in the notification centre when we slide down the notification centre.

The Twitter app was updated this evening and now goes “dark” if you have iOS dark mode turned on.

First app I’ve seen do this.
Even Outlook behaves in similar manner. On ios 13, it automatically gets on dark mode.

Seems my photos stopped uploading to iCloud since yesterday. I took 74 photos yesterday and none have been uploaded to iCloud. My iCloud back up worked and my internet is working.

I hard reset the iPhone and still no go.

anyone else notice this?

Yep - same. For the rest of the day the notifications seem to work ok.

I installed Outlook yesterday as I was beyond tired of the stock mail app misbehaving and couldn't find anything regarding dark mode in settings. My phone is always set to dark and the app was still the usual bright white.

Where is it enabled?

Edit: Nm. I reinstalled in anticipation of all the help I was about to receive here and the option was there front and center in my face. Not sure what happened yesterday...

I had the same issue. Then, as if by magic, there the setting was! ;)

Its a server side activation (of the control in your settings). It first was "enabled" about 2 weeks ago by an app update. Some people had the control toggle right away, most of the rest of us didn't get it for 7-10 days. Checked one night, and it wasn't there; checked again the next morning and there it was. Did not need to restart the app or anything. Frankly, seems they should just have waited for the iOS controls to roll out tomorrow, but hey, its their app!

I have a 256GB Xs Max, running iOS 13.1 dev preview 3... no stuttering, no lag. I ran beta releases of iOS 13 starting at dev preview 3, and continued on to iOS !3.1 dev preview 3... all updates have been done via OTA... and again, no lag, no stutter.

Mmm , maybe you cannot see the lag and stutters , take a look on YouTube , there are lot’s of complaints about lag and stutters on Xs max . . .

On the eve of the public GM release of iOS13, I have taken the plunge and am currently installing iOS 13.1 PB3 - Given the feedback on here.

I will report how it performs for me

I have noticed at times, rarely, that my some of my iOS devices required me to sign in with my Apple ID but didn’t indicate this. To get things working right I needed to sign out and re-sign back in.

thanks I’ll try that. What’s strange is new photos are getting uploaded to iCloud. Just not the ones from a day ago.
