All Devices iOS 13.1 Beta 3 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

On the eve of the public GM release of iOS13, I have taken the plunge and am currently installing iOS 13.1 PB3 - Given the feedback on here.

I will report how it performs for me

First impressions;

Nice and Snappy.

I actually like haptic touch- I didn’t think it’d work as well as 3D Touch.

Haven’t noticed any bugs yet with Mail- I’ve received a couple of emails and sent a couple of testers to myself.

Dark Mode is a bit ‘meh’

Love the swipe keyboard — been waiting for this for years. I used to run SwiftKey in my android days but never liked it on iOS.

Nice little updates to Safari with the menus and quick scrolling etc.

cant wait to hook my PS4 controller up to my XS Max and see how that works - could be work lunchtimes sorted haha

Just noticed third party apps won’t load from the doc on iPad. They do load on the screen, just not the doc.

anyone else notice this?

beta 4 fixed this for me.

My Apple Watch S4 is receiving notifications way later than usual. Usually, it’s simultaneous. But with this beta, it takes sometimes up to 3 minutes to show up on my watch.

Let's see .....

IPP 12.9 G2 PB4
Notification showing on lockscreen. When I login and pull down, I am getting the "No older notifications" message. Nothing is showing.
Messages - still not getting any non-iOS messages. It is only on this device. My IPP 11 and rMB both get them (these devices are not on beta).
Files - had to re-authenticate every linked cloud except iCloud. Then had to re-download any local content.
Today view on the first screen - not displaying any upcoming calendar events.

Going to do some playing today including reboots and see what gets fixed or what else surfaces.

Update on XS Max later today.
