Are there page numbers and "# pages left" in Apple Books when reading? This has disappeared for me on the released 13.0.

Here's a strange occurrence - my beta profile has disappeared. I'm on 13.1 Beta 4 and I still have the feedback app, but no profile in settings! I was going to delete and get on the normal release schedule for tomorrow...

Are you on 13.1 beta 4 too? Glad to know I am not only one, was pulling my hair 😂

Yup, 13.1 Beta 4. It’s driving me crazy! 😂 it has to just be a graphical glitch or something. I haven’t taken any battery hits from it, that I can tell I guess. Tried multiple hard resets too.

Is the battery just as good as iOS 13 with the Pro Max? With the little time you’ve were on iOS 13 before moving to the beta that is.

I have been running 13.1 Beta on my phone since launch. Had the XS Max on 13.1 alol through out the beta process. Just got the Pro Max Friday and I can tell my battery is better. The location icon consistently in the top left is what I meant about how I don’t feel like that “bug” has giving me a battery hit.

I have not ran 13.0 on any devices so I can not compare the battery on the 2. Only been on 13.1 Beta. Sorry for missing that response in the earlier reply.

Wonder if it has to do with the Find My app offline location feature whereas its using location and BT for any devices around your location?

Hmm... that’s interesting. Very well could be. Just weird that it wasn’t like that on my XS Max running 13.1 Beta 4. Only Pro Max since unblocking Friday morning. Not a huge deal, just more annoying then anything I guess 😂

Same here. Tried downloading and installing the profile again, but it dissapeared agian.

I tried that too with the same results. I'm thinking I might downgrade to 13.0 and then do the upgrade tomorrow.

Still have the feedback app too. Unable to delete the (nonexistent) profile, unable to delete the app.

I don’t know but iOS 13 is rubbish .. iPhone 11 pro is rubbish .. I think that Apple is not investing anymore in development of iOS . Everything is slow comparing android ...

No, it really isn’t. But that’s the beautiful thing about being a consumer: you can go back and get a full refund on your new iPhone and buy whichever Android one you like (there are some beauties)!

Cool. Enjoy your "super fast" choppy animations for the few weeks they last before Android starts to choke on its own bloat.

I'll never understand the logic of Android enthusiasts hanging out on Apple forums bashing products they don't use. I haven't been on an Android forum since I tried the S7 however many years ago.

Switched from the XS Max to the 11 pro Max. Same issue with email. I get the push notifications but sometimes when i go to all inboxes there is nothing there until it downloads. They are usually there in the sub folders though

As someone who owns both, your antique rhetoric about "choke" is so outdated.
Sigh.

Is that right? Why are there videos and reviews of the Note 9 and S9 series slowing down after less than a year?

Edit: Here's some links -

Anyone on Verizon with 13.1 Beta 4, iPhone Pro Max not able to use voice and data at the same time? On a phone call, cellular data will not work to surf the web. Thx

Just like there are limited situations where iOS never works right.
Instead of looking at "why?" you accept as factual and broad. My question to you is "why?" you do?

Still, this is not a discussion for this thread.

Because Samsung phones suck. I’ve been a long time android user until about a month ago. I switched because it was convenient. I was given a free iPhone 7 to replace my HTC 10 that had gotten to a 50% battery capacity.

The people that compare iPhones to “Samsung” are the problem. Samsung phones do not represent Android. Samsung has the worst UI, and worst bloat of ALL Android devices.
I still have an HTC One M8 that is beautiful, and fast running Android 9 (another nice thing about Android is that the phones software support is only as big as the community. Which happens to be big) that gets better battery life than an off the shelf iPhone 11. If it wasn’t locked to Sprint I’d be using that.

Stop using crapsung as the example for Android.
