Or „Restore your phone as new“

Seems to be the mantra of Apple Genius ...

So the lagging issue isn’t just me. God that’s annoying. Anyone found a fix? It just started happening to me after a restart.

Sorry but solutions are tbd ... please stay tuned for the next release. Thank you for you continued support. :):apple:

I went back from 13.3.1 to 13.3 by putting my phone into DFU mode whilst connected to my laptop and then selecting “upgrade to latest version”.

Nothing lost. No restore needed. Only thing to do then is to delete any 13.3.1 iCloud backups and do one from 13.3. If you don’t remove the .1 one, backups from 13.3 will fail as it won’t overwrite what it thinks are newer ones
I was able to follow these steps with no problem.
I’ve still got the speaker phone problem after going back to 13.3.
My speakerphone went back to normal once I reverted back to 13.3. I wonder what is actually causing the problem.

Ever since 13, my Apple Battery Case for XSMax keeps connecting/disconnecting all day long. Like 50-60 times a day. It’s so annoying, I want to throw this phone across the room! A quick google search and Apple forum search shows I’m not the only one, unfortunately.

Still holding out hope it’ll get fixed.

The beta isn’t horrible in my experience, but it’s a beta 1 that is obvious. I kind of regret not skipping this one especially with the long holiday break. But I have still been able to function and use it daily.

Left my phone in stand by in airplane mode for 24hours exactly. iPhone 11 Pro: lost 14%.

This beta is totally busy

I’m with you on this one. Final release added bugs and then 13.3.1 improved quality over 13.3 final release. I’m no longer losing my data connection, I’m able to pair my smart mouse to my iPad Pro 11-inch again and battery life has improved. It’s funny how a first beta of a newer version is less buggy than a final release that went through several betas.

As far as the share sheet goes, not seeing that bug on my iPad or iPhone 11 Pro. Experience on my iPad has (from my point of view) been flawless. That is the one device where it has overall been smooth sailing going all the way back to betas of iOS 13.0.

I’m happy with 13.3.1 beta 1. I’m glad I updated.
Is it still running nicely for you? I’m considering updating. If it doesn’t work out, can always go back.

I currently only have 13.3.1 on my iPad Pro but it’s been excelent with no issues. And several really persistent bugs fixed. I’m anticipating a fairly quick general release and looking forward to putting it on my phones.

XS Max 13.3.1 PB
Running on AT&T.
I am getting calls that intermitently do not ring. I can see them on the screen or see there has been a call however the device does not ring.
Have received 12 calls in the last day and 3 never rang. 2 from numbers I did not recognize, one from work.
I discovered this during the last few days. It could have been going on longer.

I had been noticing I was missing calls (I didn;t realize I had gotten a call) and thought I just missed it. Now I am wondering if this has been going on since 13.3.1.

Facetime, Duo, and Skype calls do not show this issue.

update: spelling

iPads and iPhones are becoming increasingly different - especially when it comes to OS. iPads seem to be doing ok, but phones are a freaking dumpster fire.

Battery life and overall performance has been spectacular for me on this build. iPhone 11 Pro Max. Now, I did do a complete erase and setup as new phone, so I do think that is a key factor.

I have witnessed no issues. Software runs spiffy. Battery life is very good throughout the day and overnight has resulted in a 3% lost. I am happy with the build.

I'm going to put this out there ...

Lately, more and more, with the apparent need to set up as new to overcome, at least initially, many of the user noted bugs, iOS is starting to feel more like Old Windows. Starts strong but degrades over time. A short time.

Others may have pointed this out but I think Optimized Changing may finally be working on my 11S. The phone was on my wireless charger for the entire time in the red box

This may be the battery case itself and not software related. I had the same issue when I put any pressure on the sides of the phone. It was the battery in the case disconnecting from the lightning port in the case. You may have a faulty case, Apple replaced mine at no charge after 4 months of use.
