I put my 11 in recovery mode and Catalina Finder is currently "upgrading" it to 13.3. I'll wait for the next .1 beta as I use FT video a lot and the echo is beyond irritating for the other person. Apparently. Wasn't bothering me, apart from people interrupting the conversation to tell me they hear an echo :)

I'm amazed they'd make major changes to audio code for a minor x.x.1 update! WTF?

As people are posting that their carrier settings have been downgraded, I'll guess that Apple started developing 13.3.1 on a code base that's earlier than 13.3 and hence they've messed up a few things. Wild guess.

Interesting. Not sure what the speaker has to do with network settings. Was your issue the echo or the static/interference noise? Also, doesn't resetting network settings delete all WiFi passwords?
It does, but what I've done in the past, is to turn off keychain before I reset network settings, then turn keychain back on after the network reset. That preserves your passwords.

Anyone experience Battery Health Maximum Capacity drop to 99% with this build? I was at a 100% with no issues, and after updating to this beta it dropped 1%. Reading from the forum and misc google searchs suggest its not a big deal, but wth?!?

Is it me or is the scrolling sensitivity different in this build? When I’m dragging or scrolling through a webpage or a list there is a significant delay.

In addition though, animations seem to be smoother and the app switcher seems to have a bit more of a bounce effect when swiping left and right and closing apps.

Anyone experiencing this behaviour as well?

Same happened here and to a couple other people I know. They may have changed how they calculate this in 13.3. I'm not too worried about it.

No issue with scrolling on webpages here.

- Same here, only that was 2%.

iPhone 11 Pro running iOS 13.3.1 beta 1 on Verizon - anyone use their speakerphone since upgrading? I had a call this afternoon and used my speakerphone and was told unless I kept my phone on mute or switched speakerphone off, others heard nothing but interference sounds and noise coming from my phone. I hung up and dialed back in twice but same results.

Could have been a coincidence but wanted to see if anyone else had the same experience.

Did notice that my carrier version was downgraded to 39.5.1 instead of 40.0 others are reporting.

iOSBry

I was just on the speakerphone right before seeing your post. I didn't experience the issue you mentioned.

This is still an issue for me on 13.3.1b1. Recording a video using my XsM if the performance or person talking is a ways away it makes the static and up close sounds overtake the sounds further away, I would say pretty staticky. Also, what is weird is if I turn “record stereo sound” off then it is nothing but static on a video recording, no other sound is recorded. Would someone be willing to try turning that setting off and see if your phone only records static audio?

Zollotech (you tube guy with pretty good video reviews of iOS betas and public release updates) says that installing a beta or a new iOS version doesn't reduce battery capacity; he says that each time you install a new version, it does a check and changes the % number if needed. That implies that iOS doesn't report degrading battery health in between the installation of iOS updates.
