Got a phone call from an unknown number on Tuesday. It appeared as if they didn’t leave a voicemail.

Then the voicemail appeared in Thursday.

And it was a fairly important message. Awesome.

I put the blame on carriers for that. I have myself experienced and read about the same delayed voicemail complaints for a few years, related to numerous carriers on both iPhone and android products.

That’s your carrier. Nothing to do with the iPhone. I’ve had that happen loads of times over the years and it’s always been down to my provider, in the UK, EE.

Then why am I only seeing that on my XS Max? It is infrequent. I do not see this on my Razer.
Both lines are on AT&T, same plan.

XS Max B2
Mail: Getting occasional duplicate emails. Cannot find a specific reason why. Just started and the only commonality is Mail. The same account on the GMail app on my IPP does not demonstrate this. If I kill the Mail app and relaunch, the duplicates disappear. Until then both are selectable.

So Since upgrading to this beta I am unable to make or receive FaceTime calls while connected to Wi-Fi. Can make them over cell no problem.

Happening to both my 11 Pro and wife’s 11.

Anyone else?

Is the new system devices toggle for “networking and wireless” only on the iPhone 11? Or does it exist on all the other models as well?

If you do a quick Google search, you will find complaints about this issue going back at least 6 years. It is just as you said, "infrequent", it is not carrier specific and it is not phone specific. There are two solutions generally mentioned.

Do a network reset on your phone
or
Call your carrier and have them re-initialize your voicemail

It used to.
Could send photos via Message and the order on my side matched the receivers side.
With 13 that stopped happening. :(
So at the moment we are sending 1 at a time if order or sequence is an issue.

Now this is a better summary. If it used to happen, then it’s either a bug or a change of behaviour. At the moment it’s looking more like a change of behaviour. Sorry.

It’s on my iPad Pro so not just for the phones. The ipad is on the beta my phone is not and does not have that toggle. I think that‘s the all-in-one kill switch for those that kept complaining about the persistent location services arrow.

I am getting somewhat annoying app reloads again. For example I am on Instagram, just quickly check the weather, go back to Instagram and the whole app reloads.

i also changed my phone number but iMessage didn’t understand it. It would try to send everything as an sms in existing threads. I had to delete the whole conversions with people for me to be able to send iMessages to those again

This beta deleted my AirPods from the bluetooth list, one day I just put them on and nothing, then opened the case and they weren't paired and searched in list and they didn't exist. Connected them again with the pair process and now they are fine, I could say they connect faster now (S1).

im having that with WhatsApp, every time reloads the app. Maybe Facebook wants us to see that they are "From Facebook" LOL.

Clicking or clearing any one mail notification to view that mail removes all the existing mail notifications from the notification centre - including those mail notifications which have not been clicked or opened.
Happens on all types of mail accounts- IMAP, Gmail, Yahoo, Exchange, Outlook etc.
Issue pending since 13.0 and is unresolved.

My main issue with Mail: the only thing that counts as "push" on Apple's servers is new email. Reading a message doesn't push to your other devices, nor does anything else.

Mentioning @ram130 for the battery life improvement comment.

I can happily report that battery consumption in standby has greatly improved on the iPhone 8 as well. In standby overnight for 8 hours and when I plugged in to check in the morning, it was 100% charged. Previously, I would see at least a 2% drop, if not 3-4%.

Awesome. I’m noticing similar results. I was shocked the first few nights and thought my battery was glitching lol. My battery life seems to back to what it was when I first got my 11 Pro. Coming home with 40-60% left again feels good.

My iPad Pro 10.5 seems better too. But looks like the battery is getting old now.

Next time, turn off iMessage, reboot, then turn it on back. I had to deal with this today for a customer in my store. No deleting needed.

Another reason I hate Mail lol. But Spark does it too..so I’m used to it.

The only difference between the two is that apple Mail makes the notification disappear sometimes at random and not always. Thus it is not by design and is even more undesirable than the behaviour of Spark.

I mean, no. Apple didn’t suddenly decide that photos being sent in the incorrect order would be a killer new feature in iOS 13.

It’s just another bug in the dumpster fire that is iOS 13.

Since upgrading to the beta, I’m having issues with my iPad Pro 10.5 2nd Gen Having screen non responsive issues. I’ll be typing, and it suddenly won’t accept screen presses. Sometimes I will hit the letter I’m trying to type 10-15 times, without Registering my key press. Trying scroll around the mail app, I can drag the message in the right window pane up and down, but can’t get the left window pain with the list of messages to scroll up/down sometimes. Even had the lock screen lock up where I had to key press in my 6 digit code with 32 attempted key presses (I counted). One thing I noticed is the data wheel in the upper corner (next to the WiFi symbol) is showing in a lot of these cases. Only solution seems to be a hard reboot, which fixes the issue temporarily, but then comes back after an hour or two.

Anyone else running into this? iPad was fine before updating to the latest beta (was running the previous Beta). Updated this morning, and this began about an hour later.

I’m still experiencing the incorrect password bug for Wi-Fi. Sometimes I have issues connecting to my home Wi-Fi and sometimes I have issues with connecting devices to my phone via personal hotspot.

I’ve made at least 10 attempts to connect my iPhone to my Apple TV and I keep getting that error message.

Would you say it’s working better than 13.3? The swipe keyboard is still driving me crazy.
They really, really need to fix the algorithms driving this. I have made some really embarrassing "typos" on this keyboard and its very annoying. Perhaps (for me) the worst implemented feature of iOS 13.

Thats been a random issue for a few years now. Have seen a myself before with a Spectrum router and the 5G would give this error but 2G worked fine (same password on both) only on one device. Other device would connect fine. You can google it and there are various "fixes" none of which are concrete.
