I did that from iOS 13.2 to iOS 13.1.3 a few days ago and it didn’t work. My iPhone was updating a while but stopped loading and I couldn’t start my iPhone anymore. Tried it 2 times. Either I’m asking myself if the downgrade is necessary from iOS 13.3

THIS is the issue I always run into.

That’s why I always have done the DFU/Recovey Mode and Restore. I guess whatever works lol

Ok this beta is almost unusable for me. Cellular just keeps disappearing, going to No service and then re-enabling itself which takes a few seconds. I guess the “fix” for the cellular issues just made it worse for me since I never had this before. 11 Pro on Verizon, public beta.

This is kind of interesting. Since installing this beta, my cellular internet speeds have doubled. (11 Pro, Verizon, U.S.)

I've always had so-so cellular internet speeds on my various iPhones, and perhaps more so on the XS Max last year with its Intel modem.

Of course, cellular speeds very by location. I'm doing the tests at my home, where connectivity is reliable but not fast. Even with my new 11 Pro, I'm getting just 23 to 30 down and 2 to 5 up.

But after installing 13.3b1, I'm now getting 50 down and 8 or 9 up. Not stellar, I know. But way better than before.

My 10.5 iPP uses AT&T cellular, not Verizon (and maybe it has a Qualcomm modem?). Speedtest results have always been better on this iPP than on any of my recent iPhones, plus I don't run Speedtest on every iOS version I install on the iPP because I don't depend on it for cellular connectivity every day like I do on my iPhone. But it does seem to be a bit faster now than the last few times I've checked.

From other threads, I know some of you have had pretty disappointing cellular internet speeds, especially using the newer iPhones with Intel modems. I hope this beta, or 13.2.2, has improved things for you.

I have two issues it seems:

Has anyone noticed an issue where incoming iMessages are only delivered to their Watch on 6.1, not their iPhone and iPad on 13.3 beta 1?

I've got it now documented that I'm receiving messages from my girlfriend, on 13.2 (official). It looks fine on her end, but I'm staring at my Watch, iPhone, and iPad and the responses are only on the Watch. My responses to her are not showing on the Watch (in the active response window), either.

Is anyone with an Ecobee thermostat able to actually open the App on their iPad? I keep getting "unable to connect," yet it works fine on the iPhone and the Apple Home App is able to talk to it as well.

Not having any issues with Ecobee on my iPad Pro 9.7 on this beta. Did you try deleting the app and reinstalling it?

Try re-pairing the watch. I had that issue when I first got my 11 Pro and swapped from my 8 Plus.

Nope, will try and report back. We'll see what happens since I'm not at my apartment right now.

Edit: Still reporting unable to connect.

Can I do that while not on Wifi? Isn't re-pairing going to force it to redownload all my apps?

Edit: I did it anyway. 😆

Edit 2: I've re-paired the Watch. Waiting on a reply attempt from my gf.

Yep. I mentioned it a few pages ago but it doesn't seem like others are having this issue. There are a few threads on Reddit about it too.

Could updating to WatchOS 6.1.1 fix it? I don't want to make the jump since the watch is my last reliable device for receiving iMessages, but it might fix it.

I only have 6.1 available to me (I'm not a developer).

Ah okay. Did repairing the watch help?

I'm not sure yet. My group chat with friends who are on 13.3, 13.1.3 (or maybe 13.2.2), and a regular thread with my one scaredy-cat friend on 12.4 all behaved as expected. Judging by her lack of response on Messenger, my gf might be in the middle of something at work and can't respond at the moment.

She's on at least 13.2 since she wanted the Sloth emoji.

Edit: She messaged me and it only appeared on the Watch again, after re-pairing.

Funny thing is I had that happen just a few minutes ago. The message isn’t even on my phone, all the ones after are though. What a buggy mess, I think this is the last time I’m trying a beta. I only wanted it due to the multitasking fix, which funnily enough came out with 13.2.2 the day after I got the beta 😒

Same here for the same reasons, lol.

Had this issue on my 7 a couple of betas ago and made the phone totally unreliable. I reset network settings which did not seem to help although not positive but then removed and reinserted sim and that seemed to fix it. Been ok ever since.

What's the easiest way to get back down to 13.2.2; would it be removing the profile and then pushing the .ipsw from my Mac over 13.3 PB1? I can do that without having to fully wipe the phone, correct?

There is a history of people having broken apps by "updating" to an older version. I'm staying on 13.3 beta 1 and waiting for beta 2 to drop, since it should come on Tuesday. They're aware of the issue and I can't imagine them leaving PB users with this issue for long.

Removed SIM card tray and reinserted, so far so good but I’ll update this on Monday when I’m at work since I noticed the issue there.

My swipe bar just disappeared again. Reported that to Apple a lot of times. Had this in iOS 12. But it got never fixed. Am I really the only one?

iMessage “send with confetti” and “send with shooting star” effects seem to be broken for me in this beta. All the others work fine.

Since i'm on iOS 13.3 B1 i figured a slightly higher battery drain while taking pictures. When I take Pictures (15-20) the battery is loosing about 1-2% every few minutes and also in the Battery Stats it's shown constantly in use. I assume it has something to do with the new hardware and maybe depp fusion.

Could be. On which device are you seeing this?
