How is the battery on this beta? Thinking of updating to it on my XR to fix ram management, but don't want my phone's battery to be cut in half.
For me it’s been very good so far. Yesterday, 7 hours screen on (plus one with screen off) used only 65% of the battery’s charge. iPhone Pro 11 (not Max).

I can’t seem to locate Announce Message from Siri for my AirPods. Am I missing something? Missed a few messages from a few contacts.
Did you resolve this? Just got new AirPods and I'm not seeing it either
Edit: Never mind. Now resolved. I think they may have been on old firmware

Settings is crashing when trying to open keyboard settings. Is anyone experiencing it? Any fix?

All mail notifications vanish from the notification centre at random, mostly after ending a phone call lasting 15-20 minutes.

Just upgraded to the 13.3 public beta and I finally got the Optimized Charging notification last night. Have had the option enabled since I installed the GM back in early September. Wonder if Apple has made a tweak.

Me, too! The first time I saw this feature working!

No problem here. Have you tried a reboot?

I haven't seen this on mine yet, unfortunately. Also been on 13 since the first beta.

Had to forget them from settings. Rebooted my phone and was able to connect. May have been affected due to having been active when my (now returned) AirPods Pro were in use but can’t be sure. Working well now

well damn! Did what you said and now shows! Thanks! lol Apple

I haven’t had a single reload event since I upgraded to this beta. How did you reproduce the reload? Did you report it in the feedback app, with your details on how it happened? Maybe it’s still there, depending how the device is being used?

I cant reproduce it every time. It is quite random. I noticed it in youtube application.

Anyone else think that it may be a point (13.3) update because it requires you to fully download and install the operating system in full again (3.9GB) or whatever? Instead of pushing a 13.2.1..

I have a feeling that the errors people are seeing with RAM and performance with their phones may be from layering updates on top of each other and probably were only fixable with a whole-system install (3.9 GB vs a 400MB hotfix).. Probably why no new features are appearing. Just my 2¢.

I have updated using full install from ipsw.
Still issues remain.

Definitely my own music. Will never support subscription music. Doesn’t provide half the audio I want.
Never been a problem until iOS 13. In my paranoia I suspect Apple may be using this to drive their subscriber base. Not with me. Have seen this posted by others.
Probably going to start flooding Apple with reports.

Have not done the auto-scan. Afraid it will just mess everything up more. I have about 1,000 playlists. To clarify, the first 10 or 20 playlist will show correct album art and text, then they get off kilter.
Some of what I have doesn’t have album art. Still, it’s an iOS13 thing. Never an issue on any older iOS phones or iPods. My 6th gen iPod Touch works fine under 12.

Yep, I am still on IOS 13.1.1 but this issue was introduced with IOS 13.0. I am surprised that is still not fixed (I don't support subscription music either for the same reasons and have hundreds of locally created Itunes playlists synced to my phone). Same with the mail issues people have been complaining about them since IOS 13 released. I am happy I dont use the mail app and use GMAIL instead or else I would be pissed too.

If the watch is not on your wrist and locked, then notifications appear only on the phone with sound as configured.
If however the watch is worn and unlocked, then the notification sound will appear only on the watch.

On mine, the notification also appears on the iPhone - but only when I don't "Dismiss" the notification. If I simply press the crown, the notification will still appear on my iPhone.

XS Max - couple of issues...

1. BT - Own a pair of B&O H5 headphones. BT will randomly drop the headphones Listening to music on YouTube Music.
2. Messages - MMS to noniOS devices is taking very long on wifi. LTE is quick. Wifi is 400D/50U
3. Battery - I am seeing on screen consumption when I am asleep. See screenshot. I didn't get up till just before 06:00 and went to sleep around 23:30 last night. Yet I am seeing consumption - foreground.
