Does this break the Batteries widget for anyone? Too early to tell, but it doesn’t seem to pick up on the Watch any more.

(edit) hm, works now
the first time I went to look for my battery widget I didn't see it either but the next time I did. Not sure why.

Battery life is great so far. iPhone 11 Pro Max off the charger for 4 hours, with 2.35 hours of active use and down to 82% battery. Not too shabby.

As others have noted, the email app is still a cluster ****. However this time I’m not reporting it. All previous reports have clearly been ignored as all issues still exist, so I’m not going to waste any more time on this joke. Pathetic is not the word.

If you press and hold on the Messages app, does the context menu offer you your most recent three conversations to Haptic Touch into, like it used to?

RAM management has been excellent and performance fluid and I’ve noticed some smaller bugs fixed, battery has been solid, and camera-related RAM management has been improved from ios 13.1. If apple keeps this up and ships a comparable quality version in a month, I’d be thrilled. Guessing this will be out first week of December, seems the beta testing cycle has been ~ 1 month

I've always had this in every version of 13, but I know some people were reporting that it disappeared.

That is by design.
Notifications that appear on the watch will not appear on the phone.
I am aware of that. I'm saying the message doesn't show up on my iPhone at all, even in the conversation thread. It does show up after I left the phone overnight so maybe it could be a posr-install thing that fixed itself.

i don't think there was a RAM management issue. I think the Mail app was causing everything to crash. I was having this issue persistently. Last night decided to stop using the mail app for whatever reason because gmail app is a lot smoother and ever since getting rid of the mail app, safari and open apps haven't crashed. I'm still using 13.2

But the Mail app doesn’t work and what does Mail have to do with YouTube, Amazon and Tweetbot?

Strange behaviour with my iPhone XS Max using this beta. When playing an audio app via AirPods then removing them from my ears, audio is handed off to the iPhone speaker, whereas before this beta it would stop playing. Kinda embarrassing at the office today as I removed the AirPods
Do try a reset. Not seeing this on XR.

As a developer, i think the RAM mgmt problem is an issue in SFSafariViewController, and WKWebView in general, and the ability to refresh audio content in background (Spotify, Youtube) or PIP (Youtube, Twitter). A lot of apps embed web ui for a lot of reason, like Amazon, Twitter, Spotify etc. And I'm pretty sure all use those components. That's why you see a lot of reloading apps from background.
For example, in my iPhone X, Amazon, Twitter, Youtube, Safari, Spotify, all are buggy. If I only keep Messages, Mail (lol), and Phone apps, and maybe a game like Mario Kart in background, I have no issues with RAM Mgmt. :)

Xcode 11.2.1 GM comes with 13.2.2 iOS simulator. Developer since first iPhone OS 2.0 SDK, first time I see that. A hot fix for Xcode! With issues on older iOS! Fire in Apple house. :/ Hope for 13.2.2 release soon...

Seriously
I guess the multi-tasking issue got the attention this time around. Good, one down, two hundred to go. Perhaps this time MacRumors could run an article about the native mail app, and hopefully sites like the Verge and others will pick it up (again) - and then Apple will finally fix the f***ing mail app???

When I send one mail using Yahoo account on Mail app, it stores two copies in the Sent folder. Both copies appear as Unread when account is viewed on the desktop.
Only one copy shown on the iOS device though.

Native Weather app is broken. While fb app also has issues with the new beta.

Yes. This is one of the existing issues going back to the initial release of iOS 13. They can’t fix it.

how it looks on XS Max

I haven't jumped on this beta but the only bugs I still have on 13.2 are.
1.) mail app, still get notifications but sometimes the emails aren't there and have to refresh or force close the app. Don't know why Apple cant fix this.
2.) Had a couple of times where my phone would freeze and the screen would not turn off. It was unresponsive for about a min or 2 then everything is fine. Not sure if it some rogue app or process causing this.
3). Occasionally when listening to my airpods 2 or Pros I get little dropouts in the music when using the messages app especially just after sending a message. 99.9 percent of the time its fine.

Other than that it seems pretty smooth.

Could you explain what you mean exactly? I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

When you open Music on your phone or iPad and go to playlists, the album art icon does not match the descriptive text. I’ve attached a screenshot.
And the icons change everytime you go back to Playlist.
Been happening since first iOS 13 beta, over two different phones and iPad. Have deleted and reloaded. Restored, set up as new and nothing helps.
Have submitted to Apple numerous times. Crickets and no fix is what I get.

Hmm, I have 22 playlists in mine, and every single one of them has the correct artwork.

Since you're missing the "For You" and "Browse" buttons at the bottom of your music app, I'm guessing you dont have an active Apple Music subscription. Did you set up these playlists yourself using your own audio files that you transferred to your device? If so, maybe that's part of the problem?

Did you ever let iTunes scan your library and auto-add album art?

I just closed out the mail app and safari still reloads tabs on my iPad Pro on 13.2. But then there are other times (very rarely) where hours will go by and it wont reload . Its definitely a quirky bug thats causing it.
