My System storage on iPhone 11PM is 7.06 and Other is 8.4 (but it was 18 and I tapped into it only to see it get dropped down significantly by the system). Try going into it and waiting for a couple of minutes.
I just checked it again and Other has increased to 7.03 GB (from 6.99).

I updated my iPhone 6s to iOS 13.5 and had 4 resprings in Safari, youtube and there was glitch when there is phone call but no buttons to answer a call.
What do you mean by resprings? Safari just closes itself? Do you lose all your tabs each time?
It is important to me to know how iOS 13.5 is to make the jump on my iPad Pro (iOS 13.3.1) and my iPhone 8 (iOS 12)

Anyone else having the age-old wifi dropping during FaceTime calls bug?

I thought this was fixed for good >_<

Iphone becomes unresponsive for 5 seconds and then it goes to the lock screen. All apps are purged from RAM but safari tabs are not lost, just reloaded.

I'm not sure someone's experience with an iPhone 6s is comparable to a iPad Pro or an iPhone 8.

"Google supports Google Sync (and the Exchange ActiveSync protocol) for Google Apps for Business, Government, and Education. Only these users can set up a new Google Sync connection that uses Exchange ActiveSync."

You do know that Google has purposely broken Gmail "exchange"for "normal" users because they don't want to pay Microsoft for the Active sync license right? The only way to have full Gmail functionality on your iPhone is to download the Gmail app. Hence (OK one of the many) reasons that I do not use Gmail on my phone. Or frankly at all.

If your "work e-mail" is on Exchange, I'd strongly recommend Outlook just for it. Having a separate app reduces the risk of you sending work e-mail from a personal address (or vise-versa).

On top of that Outlook has much better support for Exchange, Teams, etc. It's a wholly different ecosystem.

This! I use Outlook for my work mail and GMail app for personal. I used to prefer Apple Mail for my personal account (as I don’t really like the GMail app interface). But Apple Mail is so slow now, notifications are buggy, and GMail activesync isn’t no longer supported — so I caved.

I'm the other way around – I wish I can turn off Apple Mail's notification and it's way of occasionally popping in whenever there's a new mail.

That said, I wish I can turn off Whatsapp calls as well to that it follows the general "do not disturb" hours.

Did anyone have issues with Home Button sensitivity in 13.4 that was fixed with 13.5?

My new iPhone SE (2020) failed to do double-tap Reachability fairly often, I would have to very deliberately tap to get it working. And sometimes actual ‘clicking’ the button felt harder to do at times. I restarted it a few times without any improvement and wasn’t sure if it was hardware, software or my imagination. I can be especially anxious with new devices! I was going to give it a few more weeks before raising with Apple support.

Anyway, since installing 13.5 it seems way better. I’d be very interested to know if anyone had a similar issue and is seeing a similar improvement? Note: it could have been a software issue that only affected the SE as I don’t think I had this issue on my 8, on the same iOS version.

From what I can tell after iPadOS 13.5 was installed on my iPad Pro 2018 11in model while using the new Smart Keyboard w/ Trackpad, battery life went from not too good to worse. I checked last night before bed and I was at 99% battery. That was around 11pm CST. Just now as I type this I’ve got 73%. So more than a ¼ of the battery gone overnight in Standby.

No. NO! AND HELL NO!!! The problems with internet voting are numerous. It’s not just the security of your device (and 2-factor isn’t foolproof btw). The fact that the voting system is online is the thing of nightmares. No voting system should ever be connected to the internet. Period.

Paper ballots are far and away the most secure voting system ever developed and should be used universally. It’s massively difficult to rig an election when you use paper ballots (in person or by mail) and perform randomly sampled recounts.
I grew up in Cook County, Illinois, (Chicago) and elections with paper ballots were regularly corrupted. No magic to paper ballots other than having a physical artifact.

Totally agree. My email is a combination of Office 365 (Exchange) and Outlook.com mail (also Exchange, but a custom version) .

I've been using Outlook on my iPhone for several years now and left Apple mail behind for all but iCloud mail (proprietary).

I truly could not be happier. Highly recommended.

I just received today one of the funniests warnings after having installed ios 13.5 the other day:

You have been using your iphone more time than usual since the last ios updatel this could have an impact on the battery condition....

LOL what am i supposed to do? not using the phone?

I just kill all the backgrounds apps and restarted the iphone let's see...sigh.

After the info about iOS mail app security issue of recent, I tried outlook app for that exact combination and never got any updates (badges) that I had new mail on either of the accounts unless I opened the app. Finally just deleted it since the iOS Mail app got the security fixes in 13.5 betas and it works fine with outlook.com and 365 accts. Strange.

It’s not a warning in the sense that it’s meant to curb your use of the phone, just an upfront explanation of why you might be seeing poorer battery life.

This is the same as when I read about battery tips, and by the end I'm thinking why do I even have a smartphone at all.

Anyone seen a WiFi slow down on the iPhone 11 Pro? On my iPad Pro, I get over a 100MB on my internet running a speed test. Run the same test on my Orbi, still over 100 MB. Do the same test on my iPhone, it maxes out at 45-50 MB.
