The most frustrating thing about iOS 13 so far was trying to find the list of Wi-Fi networks within Control Center. I tried for a LONG time trying to figure out how to long-press the Wi-Fi icon and Bluetooth icon to bring up their expanded menus, but no luck... until I read that you have to long-press in the middle of the widget, between the four icons, to expand the options.

What the heck? I thought this was just flat out not working too. Wouldn't never have tried pushing the middle of the widget. That's insane.

Anyone else getting "location alert not created" when trying to set up location notifications in Find my

Does anyone else think the amount of blank space above the top row of icons in the portrait iPad home screen is odd? Working with a 12.9" Pro and there's tons of room up there.

Its there on the Air 2, as well. Could just be a formatting bug (esp if you've invoked the Today screen on the Home Screen in Landscape and then rotate). But it could also signify something coming up for the next gen iPads or even in a later beta (maybe a scrolling chyron Today widget offering in Portrait mode [I doubt it but hey, who knows!])

No dice :( doesn't even show a a badge inside settings, just on the app icon. Happened with both my X and iPad Pro

Often signing out of iCloud and signing back in clears that up, at least in previous years betas. Check to see if the badge is gone after the sign out.

I think it's probably because the grid size is unified (6*5) in either orientation now. If you have five rows and the grid starts near the top and ends near the bottom you might have an awkward amount of space between rows so there's probably a bit of top/bottom padding.

Please can someone do me a favor?! In whatsapp, just do a chat backup, mine doesnt even want to start. Just to make sure its a bug. Tnx

The context menus are still there. It is just brought up via long press instead of 3D Touch.

Feel like Apple should have left 3D Touch capable devices as is and not stripped us of the feature. I already miss the convenience of it and there’s no way it’ll completely be replaced by “long pressing” which hence the name is too slow for me.

Bug - Message app crash you haptic touch on new unread messages

Sometimes the keyboard will glitch and doesn’t want to retract itself when you hit “Done”

I hear what you're saying, but there's also a lot of benefit of having the code-base of all these devices as standard as possible. More compact code-base means more storage and, potentially, greater speed overall.

I honestly feel like people may be too quick to draw conclusions about the plans for 3DT, based on this beta. That whole part of the code base has probably been turned upside down and, even if it's a policy decision and not a bug, it's exactly the kind of thing that can change between betas.

True as well.

Dare I ask why you wanted to restore back to 12.3.1? I'm considering going on to Beta once the Public version is released. Just a bit fearful, thats all........

Two of the banking apps I use regularly crashes when I open them. Whatsapp doesn’t show previews or send me notifications when I receive a message. And the fonts are weird in Apollo.

I restored the phone to a new phone first and was able to restore from my backup.

Will now wait for public beta.

Fair point Apple wants consistency across devices, however that shouldn’t mean killing off features that they designed the hardware to support. It’s a bit like disabling a headphone jack capability on older devices just because newer phones don’t come with one.

In messages, I can’t save photos. It goes through the motions but won’t save them. If I tap the users name and then the “i”, all photos and save there, they save however they don’t save as Live Photo’s. Both are bugs I believe.
