Small change I discovered - when connecting to CarPlay the banner no longer takes over the whole screen (which I’m glad to see). But even more than that, there is no indication on your screen at all anymore that CarPlay is active which sounds like a security risk to me.

I used to have screen issues or FCing apps at the beginning but not anymore. I guess the iOS settled in. So far so good. My bay alarm app now crashes and doesn't load anymore. I have to arm my alarm through their site now. I just hope they updated their so soon.

Anyone have reports on that new battery feature? If it’s working with this beta? My iPhone X won’t charge per 95%. Same with my iPad Pro 10.5.

Edit: past, not per.

Do you have a blue privacy bar or privacy indicator displayed?

You’ll see both the blue bubble plus the CarPlay icon where the time is.

Wait so 3D Touch has returned? I will have to try this on my 6s later

Sounds like to get it to work you had to “reenable” it

Didn’t work for me. I restarted my iPhone X and it was already turned back on. Did it again and no results. I don’t like this haptic Touch BS when we have the technology built into our phones for 3D Touch.

Someone posted about issues with Ford Sync. Just tested on mine and had no issues (thus far). But it did tell me my wife ran the gas down to fumes and didn’t bother to fill it up.

Everything feels somewhat... unresponsive on my iPhone XS compared to beta 2. Like it takes 2-3 swipes to get it to swipe or scroll. Hope it gets better as it indexes.
Same thing here. Also have 2 badges stuck on reminders that won’t go away. Also having the white keyboard randomly pop up in some apps when the dark mode is on.

So far, the most annoying is it not detecting swipes on the home screen until the 2nd or 3rd. It seems to be after a few moments of inactivity

Also, when trying to close apps in the multitasker, it seems clunky and hangs. So far, beta 3 is the worst for me.

I think my photo library is updating, so that could be affecting you too. Maybe try again in half an hour or so before logging a feedback issue.
it's all settled and I've no problem selecting photos in iMessage, or sharing them from the Photos app.

I've noticed something odd about swiping away apps in the app switcher. There's been a couple of posts in this thread about performance issues relating to this, but I don't think it's a performance problem but that the swipe itself needs to be different somehow. I'm still trying to work out what's changed but a few quick tests and I seem to now be swiping closed as quickly as before.

Not able to access Microsoft OneDrive from my 11” IPP. Won’t let me authenticate.

Kind of a bummer for work use.

Also experiencing Touch issue with my iPhone X. So far I have noticed it in the multitasking menu as well as on the home screen when attempting to swipe between pages. Not experiencing the issue on my iPad Pro 10.5.

  • Widget view is still blank when going to landscaping or turning it on.
  • Cmd-Tab selector still locks up and freezes on the screen
  • Apps still go unresponsive for long periods of time.

None? Really? Seriously? Think you need a and go chill someplace

I’ve seen reports here that the phone UI has been fixed, app compatibility addressed for some major apps. Modem updates. Attaching a photo to an email.

It might not be the most aggressive beta, but it has certainly addressed some issues.

Fret yee not. It will get there. It’s all part of the fun of being a beta tester.

True, but beta need to progress, not regress. Now have a boatload of issues I did not have under db2.
The lack of printing, lack of photo attachments downloading to camera roll.
Just these two basic functions should never present problems. Not like they’ve doing something new.
I’ve reported more issues in last few hours than last two weeks.
Who cares if some app compatibility has been fixed when basic UI functionality doesn’t work.

Haven’t experienced any of these problems on my XR on beta 3. Guess I got lucky.

I haven’t either,on IPP 10.5, Xr and SE.

I’m finding B3 smoother and with fewer glitches than B2, it’s even sorted my FaceID/TouchID problems with my banking app.
