Any sign of the announce messages features for the 1st gen Airpods in this beta? Does anyone who has 1st gen AirPods have this feature? There was some suggestion from iMore that it would be available but so far nothing yet for me.

Not working for me either. I did play around with a friends 2nd gen AirPods recently and now see the option within settings but it actually states 2nd gen or some Beats headphones.

Having just updated and not spent much time on my iPhone X or iPP 12.9 yet, my brief time using Mail does seem to show they've fixed a number of the Mail app bugs. It's syncing mail with my other devices immediately and it's not been as flaky as b3 was...so far.
I request you check for favourite folder And thread fetch and notifications for non exchange accounts. Submit a feedback if it’s not working.
This has made the mail app unusable.

Anyone having issues with the proximity sensor during phone calls? My screen stays on while on a call.
Edit: Never mind. A restart/reboot fixed it...

Obviously only used it for a few hours but I’m pretty impressed so far...wayyyy smoother and far fewer bugs than DB3. Not sure about battery life yet

PSA:
if you’re using Revolut chances are your app is crashing on startup with the latest developer beta.

If you send a quick tweet to Revolut they will send you a test flight link to their latest beta version - they responded within 5 minutes or less. I just did that and the app works great again! Hope this helps someone.

Source: Reddit and then did it myself!

@Feenician Does the change to invoking wiggle mode have any impact on selecting apps for multitasking in iPad OS?

It doesn't at the moment. As soon as you move an icon wiggle mode starts. I feel like the addition of the menu item, and longer press to invoke wiggle mode is a sign they're rethinking these concepts to accommodate it again though.

turn off wifi on Apple Watch
Tried that. Tried the find my phone from the watch. Tried airplane mode off and on. No help. It seems for me any update for the watch has problems always has since my series 0, 2, 3, and now 4

Could you please be more specific? I don’t understand what to check (or why—I’m curious though). Thanks.

How do you guys update? Via OTA or Check for Updates and the command to look and use the .ipsw for a fresh update? And I don't mean a full restore, btw.

Mine keeps saying I have a software update but it’s the latest and I can’t get rid of it

I've got a couple of gmail based email accounts, one exchange account and an iCloud email account, all of which appear to be working normally. I'm getting notifications on all of them and they're receiving email without issue too. I was having issues with b3 where I couldn't even read emails, other than sometimes the first line of the email, requiring me to quit the app and re-start it to view it properly. That's fixed now too.

Add some folders as favourites from accounts which are IMAP (not exchange). Then send a mail to that mail account with a filter which delivers that mail to a favourite folder on server. Check whether you receive that mail in the iOS device in that favourite folder automatically through a scheduled fetch. Also check whether a notification is generated.
The configuration enabling such notification was available in iOS 12 under Settings > Notifications > Mail. But I don’t see this in iOS 13. I want more and more people to report to bring it to the attention of developerS.

Are you fetching mails in favourite folders on schedule as well in Gmail and their notifications ?

The “more” button in the music app is now a different color. It’s pinkish now, rather than red.
Yes, I’m good at noticing the little things. :DFFD06F30-42EE-4A36-9918-24273717AA6A.jpeg

Pasting something into any form or text field is hit or miss for me on Safari. The little pop up to „paste“ simply doesn’t show up and then eventually it randomly does. Very annoying
I found it works consistently when you double-tap to paste. Not sure why this is though.

Does somebody else got this bug? Favorites won’t show up in Safari.
