Any sign of the announce messages features for the 1st gen Airpods in this beta? Does anyone who has 1st gen AirPods have this feature? There was some suggestion from iMore that it would be available but so far nothing yet for me.
Not available for my first gen AirPods yet. I was hoping this would be included in this beta.

Add some folders as favourites from accounts which are IMAP (not exchange). Then send a mail to that mail account with a filter which delivers that mail to a favourite folder on server. Check whether you receive that mail in the iOS device in that favourite folder automatically through a scheduled fetch. Also check whether a notification is generated.
The configuration enabling such notification was available in iOS 12 under Settings > Notifications > Mail. But I don’t see this in iOS 13. I want more and more people to report to bring it to the attention of developerS.

Are you fetching mails in favourite folders on schedule as well in Gmail and their notifications ?

I don't have a favorites folder, so if there is a bug there it's a non-issue for me. Both my gmail accounts are fetching mail without issue as well. Again, it's working flawlessly compared to the mess that b3 was, so far as I can tell.

Beta 4 broke CarPlay for me.

When I plug in now it says I am connected and the charge light goes on my phone then a few seconds later it says the phone is not responding.

I restarted the phone and tried a different cable.

This is a iPhone XR on a 2018 Kia Sorento.

Have you seen anything authoritative that it actually is coming to the 1st gen devices? Seems like iMore is the only source for this - that I've seen at any rate.

Yes, Baseband and Telephony profile is automatically installed if you enable Enhanced Beta Feedback under Analytics setting

This is automatically installed when you enable Enhanced Beta Feedback in the analytics section of settings.

Thanks. I forgot about that. I wonder if it’s impacting battery life too.

Nope. Were you asked to install in the past for troubleshooting?
Few months ago to help them in fixing the XS max antenna reception issues. But I remember removing it.

The notification options for favourite folders and threads have been removed in Settings > Notifications > Mail for iOS 13 betas. They were present in iOS 12. This is the reason why people are not getting folder mail notifications. I have reported it.
I suggest you check the availability of this feature in latest beta.
I see what you're saying. Yes I never used those features, but you're right, they're not present in this beta either.

Still if you report it, I don’t think it will do you any harm.

Is it just me or since beta 3 files app no longer shows the smb server previously added in beta 2? I tried to delete and re-add but the server is nowhere to be found.

Does somebody else got this bug? Favorites won’t show up in Safari.

Mentioned the same issue a few pages back. First my top sites didn’t appear either until I clicked „show more“. Now these appear consistent but the favorites disappear as soon as I switch to another tab.

My Anker SD card reader (USB C) is not working on my IPP 11 (nor was it working on the previous beta; it does however work on my Mac running Mojave). Anyone having similar issues with USB C SD card readers on these iOS 13 betas?

I could be wrong, but I thought I remember something being mentioned in the initial release notes for iOS 13 that support for W1 would come later in the beta process

From that

  • The garage door button consistently appears in the CarPlay Dashboard. (50275274)

Yes! Love this feature. It appears slightly outside the range of my car's built in clicker and means the door is open wide enough before I roll up to it.

Interesting I don’t see this button. I would love this feature. Any clue how to enable it?

I haven't been home since I installed DP4 so I'll check if it's working.

It should show up in the CarPlay overview (is that the right name?) screen when you enter the geofence for your home. I don't think there's any special configuration for it. I'd expect it to work as long you have a HomeKit hub and HomeKit enabled garage door configured (and it's not broken like in the last beta)
