They have changed the "wiggle mode". You cannot get to it by a long tap on an icon... you have to 3D Touch an icon and choose "Rearrange Icons"... seems like a needless extra step. But, what do I know?

I love this change as this would make haptic touch a slightly better replacement of old force touch.

Hold a little longer and wiggle appears as normal. The menu pops up but just hold a little longer

I can still get wiggle after a realllllly long press.

Small tip but could be less practical to open in a new tab in Safari: tap the link with two fingers.

iPad users (especially those with lightning ports, not USB-C ports): Can you use a USB thumb drive with 13b4 with the appropriate connector?

In DB3/PB2, iPadOS on my 2017 10.5" iPP would not recognize my USB thumb drive, whether I connected with the USB2 or USB3 Apple Camera Connector. When trying it with the USB3 connector, I tried with and without power plugged into the dongle's lightning port.

EDITED POST: 3D Touch still isn’t the same like it is on iOS 12. Those of us who use it often have to suffer just because it’s not “commonly used.” :/

Beta 4 broke CarPlay for me.

When I plug in now it says I am connected and the charge light goes on my phone then a few seconds later it says the phone is not responding.

I restarted the phone and tried a different cable.

This is a iPhone XR on a 2018 Kia Sorento.

Well scratch this... went out for another ride and it works now.

I guess the head unit needed a reboot too.

For the first 3 betas holding down on “Clear” In the Notification Center wouldn’t do anything. With beta 4 it now brings up “Clear All Notifications” finally!

I know im going to jinx myself saying anything but.........

So far:

Mail Notifications -- they are fixed for me. Badge count is actually working again. ahhhh to live by the red dot once again!

Today view in calendar - Calendar is staying on today view for me after closing now.

I haven't had much time to play wit other issues. but I will update my topic later this week or next as I use my phone!

I've got a couple of gmail based email accounts, one exchange account and an iCloud email account, all of which appear to be working normally. I'm getting notifications on all of them and they're receiving email without issue too. I was having issues with b3 where I couldn't even read emails, other than sometimes the first line of the email, requiring me to quit the app and re-start it to view it properly. That's fixed now too.

It seems fetching mails in combined Inbox is still issue. Individual folders are fetching & syncing mails but not getting in combined Inbox.

Is it just me or since beta 3 files app no longer shows the smb server previously added in beta 2? I tried to delete and re-add but the server is nowhere to be found.

I started using spark because in iOS 12 and macOS Mojave, mail wouldn't sync across devices, so I made the switch to Spark and haven't looked back.

I haven't been home since I installed DP4 so I'll check if it's working.

It should show up in the CarPlay overview (is that the right name?) screen when you enter the geofence for your home. I don't think there's any special configuration for it. I'd expect it to work as long you have a HomeKit hub and HomeKit enabled garage door configured (and it's not broken like in the last beta)

I'm assuming both. I think it's ready to go on the devices running, and Apple just has to "flip a switch" on the back end for it to show up and be released.

I know this isn’t on topic for beta 4, but I wonder if this website eventually will turn dark when we have dark mode on. When I have dark mode on and I’m on Twitter in safari, it turns dark also. I hope apps like YouTube etc detect that we have dark mode on and automatically turn dark

Well, unfortunately, bad news. I just got home and it didn't appear. Worked like a charm in dev beta 2 too. Perhaps it's sporadic, or has some other issue for now (or the release notes are just wrong!)

It's weird maybe but all I want outta iOS nowadays it's for the stupid os revert the last source I was playing after 5 minutes so resuming playback with my headphones doesn't always default to music after a time
