PRAISE BE

they finally added the „delete“ button back to iMessage photo attachments after I swarmed them with bug reports about it for the last 6 betas

Edit: but you still cannot mass select so you have to delete them one by one

Mail is still knackered. How are we 7 betas in and Mail still has issues!?

I’ve deleted the mail accts and the app, signed out/in to iCloud and all the other usual stuff.

Still having issues with it messages coming in with no content!

Will delete all again and restart again. If not then back to outlook.

Use Spark. Switched and never ever looked back.

They fixed photos to allow deletion of media via the quick action shortcut menu. Option has always been there but hadn't been working for some time (for me at least)

Ran into an issue today (beta 6) where I was entering a calendar appointment and the location was a city/state. I entered the City, State and had to scroll through scores of irrelevant suggestions to get to City,State as an option. Selected it, but it only put in the city (no state, and no map location). I tried to add the state, and the keyboard froze. Had to force close the calendar app and try again. Filed a report with Apple (with video).

But yeah...it's pretty stable and fine for a daily driver, but there are still significant bugs that need to be ironed out.

I’ve not seen this mentioned in any other of the beta threads, so:

Has Apple found a way to stop the “Hotspot trick” of connecting one phone to another’s hotspot to update over cellular?

For me the last few updates stop at Update Requested when on a hotspot, but immediately download as soon as I connect to real WiFi.
Same thing just happened to me. Connected my ATT iPhone Xs Max to my Verizon 8 Plus hotspot and could not get my phone to get past “Update Requested” until I connected to a different network.

Let’s see if it stays that way after a while. I remember a lot of us shouting out that at once after each beta release and then a while later most problems came back. Holding thumbs real tight now.
Yeah, you and me both.

Eh, Mail app is still acting wonky for me.

Aside from Mail, none of my issues and bug reports from the last beta have been addressed. Grr.

Hopefully this release fixes tvOS's woes when it comes to having stereo HomePods.

Same here, it's annoying.

Folders background while closed are back to light grey

Uh oh. I kinda liked the folders gelling more with the background.

This makes me not want to update. I actually really love the 'color' folders.
