1. Mail app still freezes for 3-4 seconds when opened by clicking a notification.
2. All mail notifications get removed from notification centre when any one is clicked to open the mail.
3. Sending a mail from Yahoo mail account marks the sent copy as "Unread".

This is on 13.2.3.
I confirm the same behaviour on my iphone 11 and 6s after 13.2.3.

I suggest you too report it. Because my feedback submissions are still showing no similar reports.
I and several family members reported and all of them are showing no similar reports status. No love for apple engineers!

Normally I have found that after such an update, the fix is released in the immediate beta update or the next beta update.

Mail still broken for me; I receive a notification for new mail but still have to refresh for it to download. Given this has happened since the release of iOS 13, why aren’t Apple able to fix it.....?

Same. Since iOS13. Notification is there but the Mails are not downloaded. Idk why it is so hard to fix...

I know I am just preaching to the choir here but it is quite jarring how bad the mail app is at this stage of iOS 13. When the first beta launched in June, I was thinking, "ok - I get it, super early, super raw but it will be polished by September". It is now mid-November and it is maybe 50% of the mail bugs have been fixed.

For my own relatable experience, I sent an important email last Thursday, hit the send button and was on my merry way. Found out that despite my perfect signal, it never actually sent. It mysteriously vanished and as a consequence, I had a poor showing at a company meeting.

Have people just jumped to Outlook for iOS? Last time I used it, it felt disconnected from the rest of iOS since it cannot be treated as native but maybe it is worth the trade-off.

My mail seems to be working OK now - I have a gmail, icloud and exchange mail accounts and all seem to be working OK after the update. But it is only 1 day in so..

Things seem to be improving on 13.2.3. Still not perfect I know, but wondering if others are noticing this as well. It’s at least usable now.

Indeed :)

Have been testing it and while not perfect (eg. duplicate sent items still present) - some of the more productivity related bugs have been addressed. My environment consists of Exchange and MDM / EMM.

- The cut-off or truncation of content within the email body when forwarded is resolved. Apple has even acknowledged it in the release log - wow, a rarity! This was a fairly major bug imo - users at my work place were going nuts.

- It's been reported that Mail searching is much improved (though I was unable to re-produce myself).

Here's hoping that the public iOS 13.3 release is the "sweet spot" for Mail. ?

I’m also having issues with receiving notifications for new emails, going into my inbox and them not being there. I then have to manually refresh for them to appear. Incredibly annoying.

Yep. Extremely annoying since push mail has always just worked since Apple announced support for it all those years ago.

...and both the auto and manual refresh taking a l-o-o-n-g time to complete here (XR, iOS 13.2.3)

I'd send in feedback, but Apple's usual process is to let the Apple fans respond by blaming the users with the issues, until such time as the Media gets hold of the problem and starts to report on it. Then Apple says a fix is in the works....eventually. More often breaking something else these days.

Yes, and Apple Support will first blame it on your WiFi, and then require you to a fresh installation — none of which are acceptable solutions in my view, and generally lead to a lot of wasted time.

So the final public version of 13.3 is released today and so far, my testing with Mail and Exchange has been good.

- Have been unable to reproduce duplicate Sent Items

- Mail no longer crashes with hold press and forward

- Content of email is no longer truncated or cut-off when forward or replied

- Used to get random attachment errors when forwarding, but have been unable to reproduce thus far

However, the issue where we receive a new email badge notification (eg, when device is locked) - and we then go to unlock and load the inbox - the mails are not there (or takes some time downloading) - is still prevalent. I'm assuming this will not be resolved for some time.....

Keen to know what others think (in due time of course)?

1. Clicking any one mail notification on the notification centre to view that mail, removes all existing mail notifications from the notification centre.
2. Sending a mail from yahoo mail account marks the sent copy “Unread”.

Nope :( Really annoying in the GMail app...
Unless I am misunderstanding the question, yes the Gmail app does allow you to see individual accounts. I have added my work Office360 account and if I tap the account pic in the upper right corner I can switch between the two. The only caveat is that both accounts have an "All Inboxes" mailbox which does mix emails from both. Just go to each account's individual inbox and you will see just that account's messages.

Having said that, the one thing I wish the Gmail app had was some sort of color coding for messages in the "All Inboxes" mailbox like Spark does since I do use that feature. Which is why Spark is my daily driver at the moment.

What about email preview on the lock screen? every time I receive an email in my exchange account I can’t load the preview as it keeps saying loading but nothing shown

does this happen to you too?
thanks
