I thought he was wrong but actually he’s right. I’ve just edited my post above to say:

Edit: tosbsas is absolutely right. I am now being offered a full release and my dev profile is still installed. My apologies tosbsas

ran the update last night with the developer profile installed an all is well. Didn’t have to delete profile and iPad updated to13.2 (17B84).

It is unusual to get this when it's the same build number. So either they have nothing planned for the beta channel in the comming days or there is another reason we don't know. Usually, we do not get these if there is another beta coming in the upcoming days.

They could delay it as yesterday HomePod update went wrong, but how can they not as the new AirPods tomorrow need them new software updates

He didn't say it was your fault. What he's saying is that everybody's setup is different and it seems the major bugs present in the current iterations of the OS are present for some but not for everybody.

Nobody is discounting your experiences. What's being said (maybe in a not so sympathetic way in some cases) is that it's possible something in your setup is causing the issues. If you have the time and patience, it may be worth starting from a fresh install and adding your apps back one by one to see if you can nail down what is causing you so much grief.

Very nicely put. I never doubt people who say they are experiencing issues. That’s like the service technician doubting that you hear the clunk when you shift from 2nd to 3rd in your car. Why would someone make that up?

However, I am always curious when someone seems to have more than the average distribution of bugs. It might be a perception thing (such as those who seem more attuned to flicker or lag), it might be a configuration thing (some app or combination of apps causing corruption of some sort) or it might be a power use thing, where the user pushes the envelope on how the apps or OS was designed to be used. The last class is those who expect too much from the OS. I would be fascinated to hear the distribution of these edge cases.

I am thinking the same thing. Although us mere plebians don't know what Apple is releasing, my tea leaves are strongly saying a beta will drop tomorrow.

that would be awesome to have more bugfixes for the 13.2 release. But then why would they have made the 13.2 public available on the beta channel? (Maybe it’s a new, better way of managing the beta channel)

Despite being the same build I don’t think think beta 4 had full support for the Beats Solo Pro or AirPods Pro, at least it didn’t include the graphics for them.

Got to be 13.2.1 next week. I conceded that iOS 13 will never be stable like 12 was. Such a shame.
