Yeah, but it still iOS 13.2.1 release, so they’ve would probably release next 13.2.2 beta or 13.3 beta

but really don’t know, maybe I am wrong!

13.2.1 has not been released for anything other than HomePod.

Usually we see X.3.0 of iOS releases in the March-June timeframe, so I'd be surprised if we saw a Beta 1 for 13.0 before January. However, the X.1.0 (which was basically the "full" 13.0) and X.2.0 came a lot earlier this year compared to year's past.

I wonder what we'd even see in 13.3? If iOS 14 is rumored to be a significant redesign of iOS (probably aligns with the phone redesign), maybe 13.3 will focus on refinements, ease of use and bug fixes.

Surely we'll see a 13.2.1 soon (or at least a beta).
I would place my bet on the "AirTag"-things. I don't believe they'll be released before early 2020....

iOS 13 isn't fully matured yet. It's unfair to compare it to the final version of iOS 12.

Now, if you were comparing 13.2 to 12.2 you'd have a better argument.
Exactly. Software isn’t static on Apple hardware. You’re getting frequent continual updates, bug fixes, security etc. unlike Owning an android phone where support drops in the near future after buying a new one

But it's fair to point out that 12.2 was released at the end of March of *this year.* That's six months after the initial release. We're only six weeks into iOS 13.

I'm probably repeating myself, but what is really concerning me at this point is the possibility that 13 may never really get fixed - that we have another, exaggerated, version of the 11-12 cycle. I can't deal with the mayhem that 13 is causing in my professional life right now.
And I’m repeating myself by saying this, but I really hope this doesn’t turn into a regular thing. Add a bunch of features in a bug filled update, then fix said bugs in a less feature packed update. They should focus on both features and less bugs, but tackle the bugs as you develop the features instead of pushing them aside.

By the time Apple fix most of the issues, iOS 14 will arrive & we all will jump on for new features of the 14 & same story going to start,

I totally agree. I'm just less hopeful than you. :)

That is more what I'm thinking at this point - except that we know Apple can do the Snow Leopard thing. iOS 12 had a couple of rough releases but overall really worked extremely well. It was fast, light on resources, and very reliable for the vast majority of users. Let's get back on that track, please.

I'd bet (just a WAG) that fixing the RAM management issues is a lot bigger project than an x.x.1 release. Color me pessimistic...

It really depends on what got wrong there. Sometimes a small bug (between days and weeks of fixing for Apple) could fix the whole cascading of events leading to this.

Copied this from Gruber's Daring Fireball blog today:

Marco Arment, on Twitter:

Major new bugs introduced in iOS 13.2:

background downloads often hang forever and never run

apps get killed in the background so aggressively that iOS effectively doesn’t offer multitasking anymore

… continuing the iOS 13 pattern of breaking long-held basic functionality. I’m sure Apple has good excuses about why their software quality is so ****** again. I hear the same thing over and over from people inside: they aren’t given enough time to fix bugs.

Your software quality is broken, Apple. Deeply, systemically broken. Get your **** together.

Well they HAVE TO release a new update today because this problem is inexcusable

Of course they don’t have to. They should, but that doesn’t mean they will. If it’s not ready, it’s not ready.

I’m not excusing Apple for the cluster **** that is iOS 13, but if an update isn’t ready, it’s not ready. And to be quite frank, I would rather they took their time with an update rather than just rush something out that causes even more problems.

I solved the problem. Rolled my iPad back to 13.1.3 and it works great. The reloading thing for me made the iPad Pro almost useless for me.

Yup google it and you will find plenty of sites showing you how to do it as an upgrade.
Thanks. I've tried but my iPhone didn't finish the "upgrade" to iOS 13.1.3. Thank god I had one backup from last week in the iCloud which was created with iOS 13.1.3.
