Why not? It was GM

I know it's the GM, but there's been a small number of times where they've released a GM2 after discovering varied issues.. When that's happened, though, I think they've released a GM2 that same week, trying to keep on schedule. I'm being more facetious, if anything. I'm hoping to do an erase/set up as new, and it'd be my luck that they'd release a GM2 after doing that lol

This build has to be on the new iPads that are shipping this week so I am confident it will be released. I downloaded the various IPSWs and 13.4 has been on my five devices since Saturday.
I suspect this build will also support the “SE2” so I don’t think a 13.5 will appear this year.

Yeah, I agree.. Considering all that's going on in the world right now and for the foreseeable future, I think we'll be on 13.4.6 (or whatever) before we're on 13.5. More attention will be spent on 14 starting out strong than there will be with 13 finishing strong like 12 did.

Any word as to whether this is the case? And if so, whether active noise cancellation is better/worse than 2B588?

There’s an interminable toxic thread on this issue. Since your question is not one related to speculating, suggest you head to that thread for responses.

No way!
iOS 14 beta 1 ought to be available in just over 2 months so why would Apple want to resource a .5 update?
There might be a few 13.4.x security fixes or bug fixes if show stoppers are found. Other than that Apple will be working on support for their Fall IPhones. we can worry about other things for a while.

There would be plenty of time to beta test before WWDC and release it around that time. Remember that GA for 14.0 version if end of september, so, there is still 6 months before this... In the last 6 months, we've been through 3 big point releases (13.0/13.1 considered as one). 13.5 is totally possible

joking aside, iOS 13.4.x will be the last before iOS 14 beta comes out.:)

I don’t believe there ever was a iOS x.5 released.

Plenty of time (and money) but why would they want to? It would not increase revenue, doesn’t increase hardware sales and might harm iOS 14 and Apple’s future sales.
