Any reason to not expect 13.4.5 soon? Does it have any serious bugs that have cropped up?
As mentioned a few posts ago most likely mid may with the Google/Apple virus tracking in it and a few more betas. iOS 13.4.2-4 can be used for things like the mail security bug fix until then.

Well, this is an interesting development and may explain why we have not seen a beta this week.

Not sure if this means the contact tracing API would be released independently of 13.4.5 (and all development resources are being used to allow it to stand alone) or whether they are accelerating 13.4.5 for a final release next week.

I interpret that as 13.4.2 coming next Tuesday with 13.4.5 remaining the beta test bed until later in the year. I’m pretty confident that the update will be labelled as .2 whatever build it is based on.

That makes sense and would explain the reservation of .2, .3 and .4 versions of 13.4

I think iOS 13.4.5 could be the last iOS 13 update. I only hope that we will get more betas

I'm thinking 13.4.2 today or tomorrow since there was no Beta 3 yesterday (which would have been a week since last release, likely to focus on 13.4.2). That, or nothing today or tomorrow. :)

would they release a public iOS with a new API? My guess is that it will be in beta 3 but who knows at this point. My guess is 13.4.2 today.

Seems like 13.4.5 is like a “placeholder” release, they’re trying to add changes as they go and release closer to iOS 14, so not to have a big gaps between releases, but it also seems a bit unplanned. Like, I guess, it makes sense, as they went straight to 13.4.5, giving an option of releasing 4 smaller releases before that, if needed. Another option would be if they have to make unplanned changes because of the privacy violating api that governments want.
