:) Yeah work iPad isn’t touched with this stuff, personal is always updating, my hobby I guess
Same here. So far, it has not been an expensive hobby (as in, needing to replace a bricked device). Figure my luck wil run out at some point!

I think today may be a possibility, probably more likely next week though.
I'd say a non-negligible chance today, esp if they want to release another public beta next week. Little chance tomorrow. Decent chance Monday or Tuesday and almost no chance on Wednesday ahead of the Independence Day holiday here. But hey, they may just release on July 4th just to mess with us!

My money is on Monday, but anything is possible I guess.

Maybe today? It would make sense to put it out a few days early so there’s no surprises when Apple goes on holiday on Wednesday.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think Apple will release anything next week. If I remember correctly, they usually don't release betas for .0 release on Independence Day week.

Edit: I was wrong.
  • 3 July -- iOS 12.0 beta 3, tvOS 12.0 beta 3 and watchOS 5.0 beta 3 released.
I guess beta 3 will be released Monday or Tuesday and 12.4 will be released the week of July 8.

I remember the July 3rd release. Everyone said "not gonna happen". It happened.

If PB2 fixes the Wells Fargo app, Chromecast connection and Mail sync, I may need to hop back on. Lol

Now that my work presentation (on my MacBook) is done, I'm in, at the next public beta release. I really want to test Sidecar and Files, but need both my iPad Pro on iPadOS 13 and my MacBook on 10.15 Catalina.

FWIW, on my backup iPhone SE, iOS 13 is pretty decent already with the first Public Beta, so that makes it easy for me to jump in for my iPad next week. The main concern I have is with Catalina, since people say that is more buggy, and I have another work presentation coming in a few weeks that I'll need my MacBook for. That said, I'll have backups, so if worse comes to worst, I can restore.

Here's hoping for a Canada Day DB3/PB2 release.

No
I’m probably going to get “yelled” at for my response, but here goes:

Forgive me, but did your dog eat your internet? This whole thread is devoted to answering just the question of when is the next beta. In the time you typed your question, you could have read the preceding 10 posts or more and seen what people have opined on just that topic.

I get it: we could just ignore this question and move on, but I just don’t understand the complete lack of consideration for others in expecting an answer. It’s like going to the library and wasting the librarians' time by asking if there are any books there.

Well sometimes people just want to be involved and be included in the conversation. Asking questions and getting them answered is a way to be involved. I remember when I first started back in Crackberry days, the forums were pretty intimidating

I’m just frustrated at this type of question when the answer literally surrounds you. It bespeaks a lack of consideration for the time of others.

But I’m going to delete my post. Not my job to police the forum.

Sorry? I don't understand.

Clearly. Betas are released when they get released. Early on in the cycle, they tend to come every two weeks, more or less. Later in the cycle, they are (usually) released more frequently. Or not. Since the thread is entitled "iOS 13 Speculation Thread", one could assume (or deduce or infer) that no one knows. Generally, we base our guesses on past history. However, it's simply a guess and no one knows exactly when the next release is coming. And of course, this information has been stated and re-stated multiple times on the 38 pages that make up this thread (to this point)... and people still come strolling in, tromping on the daisies and ask "when's the next beta coming?" ... sigh.

A beta will never brick your device to the point it needs to be replaced. The worst case - a full reinstall (reverting to a previous version with data loss).

Generally true. The Watch may be an exception
