I’m hazarding a guess that the download problems that have plagued this DP (and still seem to be plaguing those of us trying to update the Watch) may cause Apple to hold off. But, who knows for sure!

Had the trouble with my watch last night. Never did get it to upload. Got up in the middle of the night and thought “why not give it one more try”. Downloaded and installed without an issue then. o_O

Wonder what the deal is/was

I STILL can't update the watch. It keeps telling me there's an issue trying to download.
[doublepost=1563478813][/doublepost]This is what I keep getting, even after a hard reset.

yeah that’s what I had, tried everything, unpairing, restoring, even setting up as a new watch. Deleted profile, added profile. Finally got it where It said no update available, the overnight it suddenly worked.

I removed all profiles including my ios profile.. installed only the watchos profile and it worked for me

I’ve done it all. Still no update.

And, just like that, I’m able to update. I haven’t done anything new (at least since the last round of profile removal and installation). Furthers my theory that this was on Apple’s end and updates just came to people when the servers were ready for their account and the other stuff was just coincidence.

Well I had the same experience. Wonder like you say if it was an attempt at leveling or if they had to make some server side changes

It was 13 days

Correct

Beta 3 to beta 4 was 13 days. Beta 4 to beta 5 was 7 days. :)

You posted the chart... just hover over the colored bars... you will see:

Beta 1 > 2 = 15 days
Beta 2 > 3 = 14 days
Beta 3 > 4 = 14 days
Beta 4 > 5 = 13 days
Beta 5 > 6 = 7 days
Beta 6 > 7 = 7 days
Beta 7 > 8 = 2 days
Beta 8 > 9 = 5 days
Beta 9 > 10 = 3 days
Beta 10 > 11 = 4 days
Beta 11 > 12 = 4 days
Beta 12 > GM = 12 days
GM > GA = 5 days

... and after all of that, it doesn't really matter. it will get here when Apple says it's time.

Yeah been saying that for a while. I have never had to uninstall profile to get the download but folks do it all the time. It will come down when it’s available in your area is how it seems to work. And the multiple removal/installing profiles is most likely coincidence and a timing issue. Just my 2 cents.

The only reason that I really want an update is not for iOS, but for Xcode. There is a known issue right now archiving Swift projects with bitcode. Having a fix for that would be really nice.
