I have to seriously question the logic in this. Since the beta track — especially the developer preview track — is for testing the OS and intended for developers to test their apps against it, it seems totally illogical to me that Apple would update it at this early point to include access to a new product offering.

Of course, I've been wrong before.

Yeah I fail to understand why people think Apple will allow Apple Card applications on a beta OS.

Why wouldn't they if Apple pay works just fine on the beta... Do you think they are going to freeze out all of the public beta testers from Apple Card?

Because it s a test version of the new iOS. Unexpected results based on beta code is not a good option for a new credit product offering.

Beta 5 today?

I have a feeling we will see it today and start going weekly..... But it's just a hunch so idk. Personally my XS Max is running great on Beta 4 so I'm ok either way. The last lingering issue I had was email, but after deleting the mail.app and re-installing everything has been great.

Well...it was for iOS12. Hasn't proven to be accurate at all with iOS13 betas.

It hasn't been 100% like it was with iOS 12 but it has been there more often than not with iOS 13 as well.

I don't think it would be too far-fetched for Apple to work with or loop in developers from some of the bigger name Apps in the app store...... Netflix is certainly huge and an update causing Netflix not to work would be bad news even if it's only in dev software..... So it would not be out of the realm of possiblity for Apple to have open lines of communications about releases with Netflix developers, and perhaps some other App store giants. These betas are prmarily released for developers to test their stuff after all aren't they?

There’s a rumor beta 5 will be released today. It would make sense if Apple Card was released at the same time.
