Looks like the pulled it from the Downloads page. I grabbed it and installed before they did, and I don't see any differences.

Installed it via IPSW, can’t tell any difference other than much smoother but could be placebo effect, seems like it is pulled now so hope don’t break my phone :)

Anyone notice the build # is a little weird -- 18A8395, don't they usually (always maybe) end in three numbers instead of four? Either way seems it wasn't ready to be released for some reason or another. Hopefully my Pro Max doesn't explode since I was one of the likely few who was able to update (via IPSW) before it was yanked.

Wondering should I just go ahead and install 14.2 beta 3 or downgrade to 14.0.1 to be on safe side?

Does that mean next week official? Or tomorrow maybe?

Was the 1st thing I went to compare with 14.0.1. Weird indeed.

I updated using the IPSW and it went into “Attempting Data Recovery” phase. Took awhile but so far nothing out of the ordinary.

GM? So it's not available for those not enrolled in the dev/beta testing program yet?

It probably won't show in Software Update, with a profile installed, because you'll get the 14.2 beta instead.
