As of previous first beta launches after a major release and new hardware features, this beta has disabled blood oxygen sensor by removing certain functions from both the watchOS (documented on release notes) and from iOS (not documented on release notes). If you have not yet deployed watchOS 7.1 beta on your watch, you can restore iOS 14 on your phone to regain access to this feature; otherwise, welcome to the club, and take a seat while we wait for the next watchOS 7.1 beta and iOS 14.2 beta that will restores the blood oxygen sensor capabilities.
Happened to me
Posting with 14.0.
Did anybody else have a problem where the condition icons in the widget for following days shows night time icons instead of day time? If so, is it fixed in 14.2?

Noticed this morning when placing AirPods Pro in...this popped up on my Lock Screen...it lets me choose recently listened too music and I can scroll through and select

Yeah I think it’s in the released notes/Wiki but def digging it. I like the larger Now Playing widget and wonder if Apple is going to match the album artwork in the widget like the Music app. It was like that in the preview so wonder if scrapped entirely or just waiting.

Think this has already been mentioned for 14.2 but it didn't come up for me in a quick search.

I have all texts linked from my 11PM to my IPP11. Works great for messages from iDevices. Less than stellar for regular SMS/MMS.

Anyway, I am now finding that messages from iDevices that I will view or reply to on one device will show the changes on the other but is fails to remove the "New Message" dot.

Reported.

I’m loving it

I was on the public betas for iOS 14 and because i've not removed the profile for those i updated to 14.2 without really thinking about it but i think i want to go back to the non beta version of iOS14.

If i just remove the profile and go to software update will i be able to go to the main non beta version of iOS14?

No doesn’t work like that you have to down load ipws file and red lash the entire phone

Might just stay where i am then...not sure i can be bothered to do all that even if i knew what you meant by "red lash"!! Although i suspect you mean reflash?

In fairness to the person you are responding to, Apple should have warned that this would happen in a very prominently displayed dialog before beginning the install process. Bugs happen in betas, but deliberately removing much touted new features from devices usually does not.

Absolutely! This is a major issue for me personally. I got the watch for the sensors for medical reasons. I know it’s not a medical device.... using 14.2 beta 2 because it contained a fix for an issue where I had tons of static when using CarPlay. Now I guess it’s either fix one or the other or wait for the next public beta. I don’t have a paid developer account anymore. Boo Apple. :)

Sorry but there is a warning that in many words says do not put a beta version on a critical device you rely on. That should be considered warning enough for anyone.

The first rule of any REAL software testing procedure is: read the notes. Apple sends it over email, makes it available on the developer site, makes it available on the public beta site.

The second rule is: be ready for bugs and missing features. This is a Beta code, not production grade quality.

Don’t come up complaining if you cannot follow simple instructions.

Also: 14.0.1 is out. Not a beta and for non-devs.

Anyone else having a lot of trouble with Tap to Wake? Sometimes it works, other times it's completely unresponsive even after 10-15 forceful taps. Worked fine up until somewhere around the final few pre-release DBs

I am waiting for 14.2 to come out before updating my iPhone 8 and iPad 6th gen. For those using the beta, does 14.2 seem less buggy? I have held off n updating based on some of the things that I have read on this forum and some articles

It is integrated. Quick toggle to start listening and will display result after a few seconds. If you tap on the result, it will launch Shazam app if you have it. Otherwise, it will direct you to Shazam.com of the song name through Safari.
Is Shazam (from the control centre) still working for you? It's stopped recognising anything for me, whereas opening the actual app works fine.

Edit: It's kind of working now, although it's not consistent.

All of a sudden today safari has completely stopped working, I can close the app do a soft reset and still, safari does nothing. just a black page. Anyone experiencing this? On a iPhone 11 pro max

Is this a 14.2 bug or is this just how the Wallet app is now? Not able to add cents to Apple Card payments. Had to go to card.apple.com to pay the exact amount.

iPhone 11 Pro working great on 14.2b1.

2020 iPad Pro 11" working well, but sometimes doesn't take a charge when the USB charging cable is plugged into the device. It does take a charge when the charging cable is plugged into the Magic Keyboard's USB charging port. Reported.

Charging thing I also reported.
IPP 11 2020 charges okay on MK. Have had sporadic charging when plugged in directly across a number of cables and chargers. Including the stock one.

I deleted my iOS beta feedback app on my iPhone 11 by mistake. Can some one please give me the exact name of the feedback assistant app so I can find it in the App store and reinstall the App? My blood oxygen does not work on my watch 6 due to the 14.2 beta version. Thanks.
