yes thats the issue, i love that option i have enable and addy hard coded

If you're assigning your iOS device a static IP from your router you need to turn off MAC address privacy, because it will change to a new address periodically.

I already turned this off and left it off for my home and work networks. Private MAC addresses have already been reported to cause problems on Cisco enterprise networks.

You can leave it on for using the hotspot at Starbucks or whatever, and I'm sure issues will be worked out so you'll be able to use it on more networks soon, but for now if you have issues just turn it off.

Probably going for it since it fixes the unpinning. Wonder what version iP12 will have when it finally releases. Want to make sure my OSes are in sync this time if I do even upgrade.

14.1, definitely. Though if the pro models are coming separately, like some rumours suggest, then 14.2 might come out with those. I’m doubtful of this though.

Looks like the ”app missing from App Library“ bug might be back.

From another thread:

While conversing with @C DM I noticed that the app Kodex was in my Development folder, in the App Library alphabetic list, but not in any of the App Library folders.

Oops?

Reported.

Me too. Screen not responsive especially on the top right area - like screen down for Control Center, it s stuck. :( I’m on iP 11 ProMax.
I was having that same problem on my 11P, I was considering to reinstall de software. The solution that I found came after I removed the non public beta profile, and installing the public beta profile. I don’t know why, but it runs smooth now.

Good to know, strange that that affects it. Mine is running fine now after I turned on Raise to Wake (usually have it off). If the issue comes back, I'll try your solution.

I use this feature st my house and don’t have any issues in my router my device name is VR6 and it add -01, -02 etc etc as the end of my device name

works great withdrawl xfinity and latest wpa wifi password I set dhcp to 30 and I had zero issues with wifi since than. There is also some option inside xfinity modem that says something like allow private address and I enable and so far so good and high wifi speeds

Anyone else notice that "private WiFi" has moved into the option for the currently connected WiFi-network?
On iOS 14 it was in the general WiFi-settings applying to all connected WiFi-networks – it appears you can not turn this option on or off for each individual network.

I'd appreciate it, since I keep my network tight so the MAC-address randomization wasn't helping at home.

Not for me. Its in each network on iOS 14.0 as well. (iPhoneXR)

Maybe I'm just getting old … but I could have sworn I had it in the general WiFi-settings on the iOS 14 Betas.
Sorry for the confusion. And thanks for the reply!

No problem. Maybe it was there in some of the early betas. I didn't keep the early ones running due to several apps I used didn't work so quickly rolled back to 13 until later on in the cycle.

Hello. I’m on Dev beta 14.2 and now already installed the Public beta profile, but I still could not find the update of 14.2 public beta. May you kindly advise?
