Can anyone see their speakers such as amps etc in Airplay, all I see is Apple devices?

Me too. Screen not responsive especially on the top right area - like screen down for Control Center, it s stuck. :( I’m on iP 11 ProMax.

Not had an issue with this on Pro Max, updated vis IPSW

I know this is iOS rather than iPad OS but I’m curious if any other iPad users have had charging issues with 14.2? i have iPad Pro 11 3rd gen. I’ve found that the original charger and usb-c cable is not working currently yet was working before the update. I know this could be coincidence but I’ve seen others mention this on Reddit too. its charging with aftermarket charger but it takes 4 or 5 seconds to actually acknowledge the charger.

I had this problem last night so I switched my charger off an on whilst plugged into the iPad and it started charging. Very strange.

Not sure if this was mentioned but not on the front page, the Memoji Watch Faces have been removed :(

I downloaded the 14.2 beta profile. I keep trying to updated but it says “cannot verify update, you are not connected to the internet.” I’ve tried everything. Then the update eventually disappears in my Settings>General>About>Software Update. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have done soft reset, reset network settings, deleted and re installed the beta profile. Etc.

iPhone 11.

iOS 14.2 has been pulled for iPhone Xr and 11. You'll probably have to wait for beta 2.

14.2b1 has definitely solved my battery drain, very close to 13.7 now. Not getting any standby drain now.

That's good to hear, and I also ended up installing this beta. iOS 14.2 battery is somewhere in-between iOS 14.0 and iOS 13.6 in terms of battery drain for me but it's only been one day. I'll see how it goes for the next few days. Ending the day with 75% after 2 hours of active usage, where I'd get 80%+ on iOS 13.

Glad to hear it's improved for you too. Yeah, not quite as good as I remember it was on 13.7 but good enough where I don't care anymore.

Everyone can complain as much as they want. If people find the missing information useful - they can submit a feedback. Personally, I don’t think that the length of the song is important. I’m loving the new UI and the suggestion the user is getting when not listening to anything.

When it comes to the point release, I guess that they’ve prioritise the Music features they wanted to have implemented for the launch and have left less important ones for point releases, so that they can focus on less features at a time. It can also be something they’ve decided to change during the beta period, either internally or based on feedbacks. If that’s the case, it makes sense to leave the change for a future release. Only Apple knows, but with iOS 14 we’ve seen many changes related to Music and I’m happy they keep on improving it.
I didn’t even notice the change in the screen shot. Marco loves to pick nits, especially with Apple Watch faces.

Anybody having issues with Apple Podcast app where your subscribed podcasts don’t show up on the Now Playing screen?

Hmmmm... just noticed that, with this beta, I’m no longer able to use Sidecar with my Mac (most recent macOS 11 beta as well). Anyone else? Mac doesn’t “see” my iPad (iPP 11”).

I may have spoke too soon. About an hour of active usage today and dropped over 30%

Takes about 35 seconds to register that charging has commenced since the update; reported via Feedback app

Dumb question but since no one else in my family or friend group was on the iOS 14 beta, I hadn’t thought about this since WWDC: wasn’t there supposed to be a way to unsend iMessages? Or was this a rumored feature that was not announced?

Ohhh I think that was a rumour that didn’t become real, yet.....

I’m backed up to iCloud. If I rolled back to 14, what data would I lose?

Also, would I be able to keep my watch on 7.1 beta?

Probably going for it since it fixes the unpinning. Wonder what version iP12 will have when it finally releases. Want to make sure my OSes are in sync this time if I do even upgrade.
