Probably not pinned because so the editors, etc are on deadline to get out new phone content.
Strange. Mine does not see it even after a hard reboot. Yet shows and now installed on my 11PM.

Incoming call banner is still kluge. If you answer a call using it (without expanding to full screen) the proximity sensor doesn’t turn off the screen.
With iOS 14.2 beta 3 I cannot turn on or off lights using Siri with homekit. I could with beta 2.

Same here. I can't turn on/off specific lights but scenes and asking Eve Room (temperature, humidity) still work.
Editing a photo (iCloud, so editing either on the phone or the laptop) and then exporting on the laptop corrupts the IPTC fields. For example, set a title for the photo (in Photos on the laptop) and export. The photo's title is correctly exported as IPTC/Title and IPTC/ObjectName.
Make an edit on either device, even just a crop, and export again. The IPTC fields are empty (as are the IPTC fields for date and time etc.). Perform a "revert to original" on the phone, wait for sync, and export again and the fields are back.
This started a couple of betas ago. Feedback logged, but experience tells me that Apple don't care about their Photos app beyond the basic features. However, fingers crossed that they're taking iOS 14 more seriously than their pretty much abandoned-from-the-start iOS 13.

Same for me with Hive accessories. Looks like an issue in the beta. Issue also present in the latest HomePod beta and its the same on watchOS too.
I haven‘t updated my iPad Pro yet and Siri on that still can control the accessories so definitely looks like something they broke in the latest beta
I’ve submitted feedback and suggest anyone else with the problem does the same

I first noticed in 14.2 b2 that the Watch cannot be used for Siri HomeKit commands. At this time my AppleTV 4k, which is also a home hub was still on tvOS 13.7. As soon as I updated to tvOS 14.01 HomeKit commands worked (and still work) on the Watch.
However there are other changes that I noticed starting from 14.2 b1 regarding HomeKit:
For example "turn off the lights" doesn't turn off every light like it used to but gives me a list of rooms to select where to turn off the light(s). It can be remedied by saying "turn off the lights everywhere".
I know this was deemed to be a feature but I'm not getting the "Airpods Connected" every time I unlock my phone even with the Connect to this iPhone set to "Auto". Anyone else confirm?
They must have got pissed at the number of bugs raised for this
But does the audio still switch? I’m okay with no notification as well as long as when I press play on either device it knows where to connect.
Once you upgrade the new phone to 14.2 or higher then yes, you can restore. But not onto 14.1. Very unlikely, anyway.
If you're going iPhone 12 or 12 Pronext week, then you will initially, as it will be on 14.1, you have to wait for a 14.2 beta for iPhone 12.
The Pro Max & Mini are coming later, they might come with 14.2.
