iOS 14.2 Beta 3 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Nice surprise this morning - intercom is working!!

Works fine between all devices running 14.2 b3 and Homepods with latest beta installed yesterday

Experiencing a never-before-encountered (at least personally on iOS 14) bug wherein the music widget fails to correctly update.

Beta 3’s feeling a bit rougher than I foolishly expected.

Interesting. Clearly still in beta. Using Siri has worked 100% so far for me. Using the icon in the Home app has been hit and miss though
 
Sending an Intercom from HomePod seems to work as it says it's delivering the message to everyone in My Home. Notifications appear on my XR and Mini5 (didn't check the IIP) with the play button, but no sound goes through when I tap on Play. Maybe it'll kick in in a couple of days.

Did anyone manage to get a covid app working? The German app doesn’t load at all.

Interesting fix for a crazy issue: Download & Install Beta 3

11 ProMax - downloaded and installed no issue
IPP 11 2020 - could not see the new beta

Public Beta came out - IPP11 still could not see Beta 3, dev or public.
Deleted profile, installed new profile - not a beta 3 to be seen

Left profile, downloaded and installed new dev profile, now IPP11 only shows "Public Profile" and it works.
Beta 3 is currently "preparing".

Talk about crazy.

Weird, seems like maybe something wrong with the profile for had. 🤔

11 ProMax db3

I am getting a number of mid use app crashes with this beta.
I have also been getting PIP freezes - the PIP freezes while the rest of the device works fine.

Not seeing any real bug fixes from b2

App Library seems the same as b2 - same issues.

More to come as my IPP 11 finishes the install. Want to do a bunch more checking on sharing between devices.

Agree ... this was an issue I have not had before.
