I open up the phone and set it up really quickly (saying no to everything, not logging in to iCloud, etc.), open Safari and download and install the developer profile, let it update, and when it's restarted, use "erase all content and settings", which wipes the phone and allows you to set it up as new, including loading an iCloud backup.

Thanks mate.

Ended up reverting to 14.1 from iPadOS 14.2 today before this beta dropped. I was getting tired of keyboard controls no longer working in Plex with the Smart Folio Keyboard on my iPad Pro 11”. 14.1 restored this functionality.

Any other Plex users able to test this out in the latest 14.2 beta?

I wish it would say the time, I set reminders for my pills when to take them every 4 hours and it doesn’t so useless for me

Crossing fingers this works with the iPhone 12...
I’m pretty sure that if you use the Direct Transfer option during setup it will let you get your stuff over to the new phone even if it’s on a different version than your current one.

I thought Apple has to release a new version that is compatible with the iPhone 12, either on launch day or today, with this beta. Otherwise, it would not show up as an update even with the beta profile installed. I think last year it was released same day as iPhone 11, but I don’t know if that was the case for iPhone XS or earlier.

Apple put the IPSW up the day before the new phones came out last year. So should see it on Thursday.

Ew...now there’s a “suggested” folder in the App Library for Siri suggestions.

Can’t figure out how to turn that off yet, if at all...

Always been there. Plenty of evidence...

So, either you just hadn’t noticed or your phone had a bug where it was not showing out.

Can’t turn it off.

AirPods Pro won’t properly connect to my iPhone XS. Unpairing and re-pairing didn’t fix issue. Anyone else having this issue?

Mine did that on beta 3. Has to factory reset to sort it

Huh...guess it was a bug because it certainly wasn’t there before. Prior to this beta, the first folder in the upper left corner of the App Library screen was “Recently Added.” Now, the folder in the upper left corner of the screen is “Suggestions” and “Recently Added” has moved to the upper right corner.

Oh well.

Although, for what it’s worth, my Siri Suggestions have been pretty screwy lately.

Go to settings, Siri & Search, turn off “suggestions on Home Screen”.
