From 14.2 beta 4 to 14.2 RC the imessage notifications didn't show up, had to go into the app, to see if there is a new message. Because of this i downgraded back to 14.1, where the problem does not exist. I hope they have fixed it with the build change.

I noticed the same. I toggled all of my Messages notifications on/off a few times in Settings and I think that fixed it.

Wow. Thanks for voicing that, I thought I was just really bad at noticing my iMessage notifications lately. So many conversations I had supposedly viewed hours ago. Maybe something actually has been fishy and I’m not crazy...

Newer than RC1 (18B91) no?

OTA is 4.3 GB going from the RC to this.
I was running 14.1 on my 12 and the 14.2 update was considerably smaller than what you are saying...don't remember the size, but it was way smaller.

Yeah it was smaller on my wife's iPhone 11 Pro Max, as she was still on 14.1. I was on 14.2 RC1 so I guess it was a full update from RC1 -> Final.

I was running RC1 on my Xs Max and the new update checks in at 5.02GB!

I’m completely missing 5G after installing 14.2. All I have is LTE. It’s an iOS 14.2 issue or it’s just me?

When I set those new wallpaper, even I set perspective zoom off and the icons still move. ☹️

Weird. I have 5G turned off on my 12 Pro but when I saw your message I looked at my phone and I had no bars with Verizon WiFi showing. I disabled and enabled cellular and my signal came back.

I had an issue where I couldn't edit photo's on 14.1, seems to be fixed now on 14.2.

Modem firmware on my XS updated to 3.01.01
Carrier version KPN NL and Vodafone NL updated to 44.0

In my case turning iPhone off and then again on fixed it. Strange, because normally using airplane mode should do the trick, but this time it failed :)

1.1 GB from 14.1 on a 12 Pro. I didn't even bother looking at the modem info before I upgraded. Oh well.

iPhone 7+
I just updated to iOS 14.2, now some of my app pages are missing. I took the pain to sort through my apps and categorize them into their own pages and hide/ unhide them when necessary, but now I noticed some of those pages are missing. This is annoying, I do not want to reset home screen layout and do it all over again.

Looks like a number of fixes beyond those listed in the release notes are also in iOS 14.2.
