You seem to have the most problems with all these betas, as you’re the only one I see posting repeatedly with different issues. Moreso than anyone else. Maybe there’s something with your setup that your seeing so many issues compared to others.

Actually no.
I tend to test pretty much everything out I can and if it is a bug or similar I report it.
Many tend to gloss over smaller items. I don't.
Many gloss over or ignore things they don't use. I try to check everything.

For @Ansath ;)

Testing Mail. 11ProMax
iCloud account, GMail account, Exchange (Outlook) account.
Except for the Exchange, I frequently have to manually refresh Mail to pull in the iCloud and Gmail emails.

Been that way for pretty much all of 14.

Okay ... under RC I went and had a go at the App Library.

New issues:
Recently Added folder now contains almost every non-Apple app. It had 8 before the update. It now has 54.
Suggestions makes no sense as it contains apps I seldom use.
The top three in each folder are frequently apps I seldom use.
Pinterest has moved to Other
My Graphing calculator is no longer in Other. It is actually not in any folder. It is in the alphabetic list.
Productivity & Finance has changed from 26 to 20. Still trying to figure out what shifted....
I updated from ios 14.1 with itunes and in the apps library the suggestions folder appeared again, when I have deactivated all the suggestions of siri in the system. I tried on my brother's phone, with ios 14.1 to activate and deactivate, and this folder appears and disappears depending on what you want to configure. in ios 14.2 you see that this is broken, because it does nothing.

As I posted, too, I’m having what looks like the same issue.

I never said he was the only one, just that he has more than other people. So no idea why you decided to reply to me.

I wasn’t criticising, it’s good that you report the issues, so others can see, if they have the issue too. Just curious why there aren’t others posting as much and part of me wondered if it’s something with your setup that you’re seeing so many different issues constantly.

I am assuming they don't post it all consistently.

Basic 11 Pro Max (green) - AT&T.
No special setup except for Dev Beta and a few Work apps (from my employer).
Use that, and iPad Pro 11 2020 and a 2015 MB.

All pretty straight forward.

I'm rocking an 11 Pro Max, space grey, unlocked, iPad Pro 11" 2018, a MBP 2017 & 2014 Mac mini, and I've not seen barely a quart of the issues you have.

Again, it's good that you post though. Always thorough posts. :)

Something is weird about the weather widget. It’s showing night time icons for a daytime forecast.

Clock widget freezes. Happened in the last version and also in this one. The clock handles just stop and it all freeze. Removing widget don’t help.

Am sure it did something similar in the 14.0 betas, around Beta 4/5? It ended up resolving in a later release though, I thought.
I’m on 14.1. I thought it had resolved after first updating to 14.1, but it’s gone back to showing me “moony” or “moony intervals” instead of sunny or sunny intervals. The large widget has now been banished from my devices.

I’ve got to say that I’m extremely disappointed with the widgets. As well as the weather widget, the clock widget still has issues from what I read. Reminders and Calendar widgets also have their moments and can’t be trusted to update in my experience.

Not a good user experience for a new feature. I wonder how many non-techy people have tried them, found them buggy (and therefore useless) and will never bother with them again.

Finally you can open a folder and then an app without waiting for the animation to finish.

I’m using the Weather Channel widget and it’s been good so far. The only thing I don’t like about it is if there is even a slight chance of rain/snow it switches half of the widget from a daily forecast to a radar. Even if the radar isn’t showing any rain or snow.

So 14.2 RC is the final build? Apple isn’t going to do something crazy like release RC2 for 14.2 are they lol?
2020 strange year just double checking

It looks like this is RC2, at least internally, just RC1 to us. Unlikely that there will be another one before public release, but never say never.

Do you think 14.2 will fix wireless charging altogether with the 12 pro? I saw the notes about it but doesn’t mention anything about fast charging at all

I'm looking to come off the Public Beta and have installed this latest version, am i correct in thinking that as it'll probably be released generally soon its not a bad place to remove the beta profile and then update as and when official new versions are released?

Optimized battery charging for ‌AirPods‌ to slow the rate of battery aging by reducing the time your ‌AirPods‌ spends fully charged

Will this require the new AirPods firmware as well? How will it work otherwise? I was not aware that iOS/iPadOS could directly control AirPods charging, or can it?

It's been working for me on the current AirPods firmware. Don't know how it works exactly but I get a notification on my iPhone when it's going into optimized charging mode.
