Wow the download is the slowest I have ever seen of any iOS download. Usually dnload is fast and "preparing" is pretty slow but this one is really taking its time just to download. Not really that big either (3.x gb)

I'm getting a bug where if I receive multiple messages from someone in iMessage, the first message they sent me won't popup in notification centre or notify me but the other messages will?

Anyone experience a ghost app issue where trying to delete an app when it’s not on your device but acts like it’s installed in this release?
I had that. I deleted “sky news” but was still getting notifications from the app.

Is Google Authenticator crashing for anyone else on iOS 14.2 RC? I tried to kill the app from task switcher, tried to reboot the phone but still doesn't work.

Okay ... under RC I went and had a go at the App Library.

New issues:
Recently Added folder now contains almost every non-Apple app. It had 8 before the update. It now has 54.
Suggestions makes no sense as it contains apps I seldom use.
The top three in each folder are frequently apps I seldom use.
Pinterest has moved to Other
My Graphing calculator is no longer in Other. It is actually not in any folder. It is in the alphabetic list.
Productivity & Finance has changed from 26 to 20. Still trying to figure out what shifted....

Phone is suddenly getting warm and draining battery. Couldn't figure out which app is doing this..

as an added item; most of my Work apps (apps supplied by my employer) are not in any App Library folder. They are all in the Alphabetic Listing though.

Anyone else have apps for your device issued by your employer? If so, are they in App Library folder(s)?

After reading all the stuff here, it looks like 14.2 RC is not as stable as 14.1. I knew this is still RC version, but 14.1 GM is same with 14.1 public release. Anyone has same conclusion?

Apparently this was an issue on iOS 14.2 Beta 2 for some others as well. Offloading and then downloading the app fixed the issue.

I’ve had to go thru the App Library list and add a few apps to my Home Screen so that I could dump ‘em into their own folder. Used to be in a specific folder at the bottom of the App Library.

You seem to have the most problems with all these betas, as you’re the only one I see posting repeatedly with different issues. Moreso than anyone else. Maybe there’s something with your setup that your seeing so many issues compared to others.

As I posted, too, I’m having what looks like the same issue.

FWIW, tvOS 14.2 has resolved my HomePod issues. I started receiving an error about not being able to AirPlay to my paired HomePods. Now with the option to enable a default output, not only are they working as a stereo pair, but I’m even hearing the UI clicks. Good stuff.
