macOS 11.1 RC also available, build 20C69. Looking forward to it. I wonder what 14.3 RC 2 brings. So soon and a new candidate...

Mods thought my "wat" picture was frivolous while two additional confirmations that the update is, in fact, available OTA with the profile and "installing now" posts are a-okay. 😆

Editing to make sure this is not removed for being frivolous as well. I'm currently at the "Preparing" phase and looking forward to seeing my lyrics button still grayed out in AM.

And don’t forget the million “it’s not here for me” posts! They are always very welcome, seemingly!

But to keep OT before I’m banned again, I might jump on this one. Will wait for a bit more feedback but am tempted.

I doubt we will be able to detect the difference between RC1 and RC2.
the release notes for both versions appear to be identical.
plus the build difference is just one number.

I think there may be a problem with the IPSW for iPhone 8. It is at 4.55 GB and it says "firmware file is not compatible" with this iPhone. I wonder if that is the IPSW issue or if it needs Big Sur 11.1 RC and above to install. I am re-downloading the IPSW to make sure.

EDIT: Fresh download of IPSW has not helped. Restart has not helped. Now I am thinking this is not just one build number ahead, something else is going on.

EDIT 2: Installed the beta profile and downloading OTA now. 3.89 GB on iPhone 8. Even after the OTA update, the firmware still remains incompatible. God knows what is going on - if this needs macOS 11.1 to update via IPSW or did Apple bungle up with the IPSW in some way.
