Are ppl adding in Feedback bug #’s when submitting their bugs for the same issue others have submitted (assuming ppl are sharing)?

Seems like this would help Apple link bugs.

Bangalzed: in regarra to iPadOS 14.4 what are the changes

because I see the full list for iOS Just not iPadOS14.4. Thanks

No carrier version change from 14.3 on Verizon? They need a lot of work on their network on the 12 Pro. I would assume they would continuously be updating it.

You’re able to classify Bluetooth devices as what you want, hopefully this is a fix for volume randomly turning down for being to loud.

After watching Zollotech’s 14.4 RC video on YouTube, it would appear the U1 handoff is still present in the RC build but it’s just not called out in the release notes for some reason.

There is actually a setting that makes that happen. Look at settings>sounds & haptics>headphone safety. There are two toggles there one that controls the function you are speaking of.

only if you haven’t restored your phone or bought a new iOS device since iOS 14.2. If you have done either of those, this is what that section looks like. Never had the volume issue until I restored a few weeks ago.

Intersting, Yeah my top section is another toggle beside the "Headset Notifications" and a "last 6 months" counter just below it. However the option you are showing "reduce loud sounds" should keep it from lowering the volume if its switched off. Perhaps its a bug after-all and that switch is being ignored???? Mine seems fine with it off and only drops when its on.

[Edit] OK I see now. The second setting is a bit different issue it seems. Not the one being discussed regarding the 7 days limit.

It seems that the switches there aren't necessarily something that everyone can actually control -- some discussion of that sort of thing in a few threads:

Ok then. Interesting read, weird. Mine has been fine. (so far)

One issue I have at home is that my Jabra headset (for work) is always on and connected. On Android, I have the ability to only permit the Jabra for Phone Calls (but not Music / Audio). On iOS, quite often, the Jabra is auto-selected for music / video play back. Will this new update help with that?

Edit: Nope, doesn't fix it. I wish I could designate it as a headset for calls only.

Are the widgets on the iPad still kind of hit and miss in terms of refreshing properly, or just plain "Unable to load?"

The way things have gone with their numbering in 2020, with iOS 15 this year we might as well see a .1 increment every time they bring out an update. Like they are doing with macOS. That epic Phil Schiller moment in 2012 runs in the mind!
