I have T-Mobile as well and 2 lines (eSIM + Physical SIM). I had the issue you mentioned in Beta 2 and Beta 3. I believe that it may have been resolved with this Beta for me. It has been a little over 24 hours and I have not seen the drop however will continue to monitor. One thing to note that I was able to go to Settings ➔ Cellular and then the signal would drop on both lines and then back again. I could duplicate this behavior if go to Cellular in at one out three times. I haven't been able to do that, yet, after this current Beta.

I have TMUS eSIM and VS regular SIM, still frequent network reboots. If I turn off VZ , TMUS is stable, but 40-50% of my calls go to 4G and aroind 30% dropeed. It is not only in my place, but 50 miles radius.
I tried to reset network settins , fresh install iOS with zero help. I tried eSIM Att- no problem at all. My opinion this is poor T-mobile carrier aggression script.

Seeing the same now popping up in this beta as I saw in 3 - degrading over time.

IPP11
Airpod Pro cutting out randomly. Just started today
Messages I am getting the big gap between the text field and last message (see screenshot)

Are you happy or unhappy? Not clear.

Hint: You should be happy.
Went to bed last night at 00h00 with 62% battery and at 10AM I had 52% battery. Did nothing with the phone during that period. I think it's way too much battery consuption during idle time. Not good. With iOS 13 I should loose 3-4% in same situation. I think it will not be better with iOS 14.

Disagree. That is 1% consumption per hour. With that, you would have more than 4 days of standby time.

The phone still does things while “idle”. It’s checking for messages, updates, polling cellphone towers or WiFi.

I am a bit dubious that you experienced only 3 or 4% battery drain in the exact same circumstances under iOS 13.

Nor is comparing a beta software build’s battery consumption to a released version’s battery consumption necessarily a fair comparison, if true.

Anyone having the issue when iphone 12 pro max is hooked to the apple 20W Charger...the display somehow kind of reduces itself to 50% brightness?

it over heats so drops the brightness down, has always been an issue

Well, maybe you're right, it's a beta. But with iOS 13, I should get to the end of the day with 70-75% battery, with more or less the same usage as now, and now I get 50-65%, even with my previous iPhone 11PM. Let's hope I'm worng!!

Seeing similar with the 12 ProMax. So far 14 has not been as good as 13 but am hoping with 14.5 release it will be close.

Question:
For apps that utilize Close Caption, does this get processed via the app and the company streaming the video or does the CC get processed locally?

I am seeing a degredation in CC accuracy lately. Seeing this in A+, SpectrumTV, YouTube, and a couple of others. All on the IPP 11.

Anyone all of a sudden getting eSIM failures? I had no issues until yesterday. I have a Verizon physical SIM and an AT&T eSIM and it seems the AT&T eSIM is failing and even taking out my Verizon SIM in the process. Thoughts?
I deleted my eSIM from my phone on Saturday (same day as your post here) and had to call CS to have it sent to my phone again. When I activated the new eSIM, it wouldn't connect to data, personal hotspot didn't provision, but the IMS APN still seemed to work. I was able to use MMS and VoLTE, but no web browsing or anything else that uses the normal data APN and there was no data indicator (LTE/5Ge/5G) in Control Center.

I tried everything including a full erase and no restore from backup, had CS send me another new eSIM, and it was still broken. I finally rolled back to 14.4.1, kept the eSIM from 14.5, and after I restored from my iTunes backup and requested an automated "service update" from AT&T online account self-service, then power cycled the phone, I finally got normal data back.

The APN settings are bundled with the OS (presumably in the carrier profile), and according to the CS rep should be blown away and reprovisioned when you do a "Reset Network Settings." Since that didn't fix it on 14.5B4, I have to think that the AT&T 46.0 carrier profile in this build is broken.

Edit: fixed the word "backup"

My iPhone 12 pro doesn't have "your car" in the maps setting to locate a parked car, but it is on my XR

Have you added any Made for You playlists to your library? I think that's what makes the category appear.

You can find the Made for You playlists in Apple Music.

I might’ve opened one and looked at it, but I don’t think I’ve ever added one to my library until after I noticed this option. I did it as a test to see how it looked when just that particular playlist was showing. Who knows, maybe I did it in the past but forgot.

Maybe you just need to play one? When I choose that category, that's the only playlists I see in there.

Hi!. I hope someone knows what I'm talking about... There's a feature within the alarm clock that "knows" if you are already awake before the alarm goes off and so it asks you to confirm it and cancels it for the day. It has only worked for me a few times and I can't remember if this was before the beta. Any ideas? Also, I'm not sure if this is an iOS feature or a watchOS feature, and I'm running both pubic betas just so you know :)

Hi. I think you need to be using the Bedtime mode of the Clock app for that feature to appear.

I’m not on the beta, but just this morning the feature worked on 14.4.1. I woke up a few minutes before the alarm was scheduled to go off, had a quick look at some messages that came through during the night, then the “Turn Off Alarm“ box came on screen.
