thanks a lot sir,

ok, i'll leave the beta profile on, just in case. SO, when the next week the official version will be release i'll just check oif there's some update and if not i can remove the beta. Right?
Right, short of any big issues (as s2mike mentioned) it'll be the same version. I always remove the profiles after the first RC, so I don't forget, and in the event a 2nd RC is released, I just download the profile again.

Is it possible to do a clean install with today's release of the Release Candidate? Or do we have to wait for the official release next week?

You can update to it, do an iCloud backup, then reset the device, and restore from that backup. I don't believe you can use the IPSW unless you have the latest XCode (I always do my updates with the profile, so can't speak to doing it direct connected if that was the option you were looking to do).

IPP 11 - download was decent but 20 minutes to "prepare".
All installed now - crossing fingers, all, hoping for less issues with this version.

Update:
12PM - download was also quick but took 16 minutes to "prepare".

Can this release be installed via the IPSW file, or does itunes still need an update to do that?

Updated, ECG finally activated officially in Australia :)

'Allow Apps to Request to Track' is still greyed out and can't turn it on - I refuse to wipe and start again (as I've seen suggested elsewhere).

Perhaps because it's enrolled in an MDM setup (G Suite?) - I assumed it might have just 'started working' with the final 14.5 build.

I find animations to be slower out of the box in this release candidate than they were in beta 8. Not particularly amused. Hope it resolves with overnight processing.

Same build but the call blocker setting just came back for me after 2 minutes. After the update it wasn’t there.
Same. I had to force the call blocker app to update again and then it shows up in the phone settings. But, after a reboot it disappears from the phone settings again.

It's the same issue as it was on B8 and previous betas so not fixed in this RC.

I am still having the same issue as I had in beta 2.

iPhone 12 pro max on 14.5 RC, on t-mobile 5G/LTE as long as it has celluar service ( no matter at what signal strength)
with Wi-fi turned off, my phone won't connect to the internet: can't browse in safari, or apps

I CAN make phone calls and text (not imessage).

Does anyone else have the same problem? any solution? I have tried network reset, toggle airplane mode, re-insert sim, switch on and off wifi calling, and data romaing. no use.

Just updated my 12PM and it removed the Blocking option from Settings.... pita.

How about camera performance? Still blurry photos compared to 3rd party apps?

Do 60fps videos on YouTube still lag?

(got off beta profile, waiting for official release)

Updated remote app in control center:
