So I've never had the Call Blocking and Identification section go missing in Settings-->Phone. What does happen is that my call blocking app is not shown in there after reboot or force-close the Settings app and then have to re-enable the call blocking app 1 or 2 times before they appear again.

Since this issue arose, mine has always acted that way. I would go into Hiya and it would tell me it was disabled, go into Settings and find the option isn‘t even showing.

UPDATE!!!!

Don’t know if you all remember I had some keyboard issues with some apps. (B1 + B2) Anyway… it seems if I turned off “prefer cross fade translations” everything works as should. And it seems it wasn’t Face ID having a wobble, but this option was causing the app to crash. All apps are working now… on my main device.

Here's a really dumb question because I'm not sure if it's part of this beta or not. My Apple Watch is on the latest software (not beta) and my iPhone 12 Pro Max is on the latest beta. If my watch happens to get locked while i'm wearing it and I unlock my phone, my watch will unlock and wifi is not on. But, if my watch is unlocked and my phone is locked and wearing a mask, why won't my phone unlock unless it's wifi is turned on? Doesn't make sense to go one way and not the other.

Hmm, I have been reluctant to add to this forum thread, because I don’t want to jinx my phone, but……
So far, touch wood, the native Mail app seems to be regularly updating within a second or two. Since the beginning of iOS 13 I believe (so long ago, I barely remember exactly when) the mail app would take up to 30 seconds or so to check my two accounts. One exchange, one iCloud. It was always the iCloud account that held things up.
but has been working really well since the day 14.6 b2 was released.
insane, but thank you Apple!! Only took close to two years.
Having said all that, apologies in advance to anyone who from this moment forward experiences a broken mail app. 🤣🤣🤣🤣😜😜😜

I have 5 devices running this beta. Today they have each displayed a badge on the Settings icon saying their individual automatic backup had failed and Apple were offering to sell me more iCloud storage. I have 2GB unused storage and the largest backup stored is only about 700meg. Manual backups are working so what is going on?

12PM IPP 11

AirPods Pro

This switching issue is getting out of hand. Was listening to music on my 12PM / APP. Meanwhile my grand daughter is on my IPP on a Zoom with her counselor. In the middle of that call the APP hijack the Zoom call; just switches mid song on my side.

feedback reported.

I wish I could say the same. I will say my iCloud account is doing okay. The Exchange and Gmail, not so well.

I switched back to this setting. So far so good

Not a permanent thing, I hope.

Sadly not. 14.5 and 14.6 have been the worst for me since iOS 13. Devices can take forever checking for mail and claim I have unread mail when I don’t. Some devices can be way behind others in showing new mail even after multiple refreshes. Also I am mot convinced that deletions are syncing properly between devices.

I have this set on my 12PM. I use this when I’m on my IPP with the APP and get a call on my 12PM.
Problem was that this issue, has happened before, occured well after commencement of both the music and Zoom.

There is no doubt that Apple has been somewhat challenged in getting the automatic switching thing working properly. Sometimes a concept like the auto-switching sounds good but is a bridge too far for whatever reason.

But, that’s why they run betas!

Delay in updating the screen time widget. If you look at the widget, then one time, click then there will be another time.

There is a problem with the timer. If the lock screen is 30 seconds and the timer is 30 seconds, then the timer will not work. If the timer is on for 29/31 seconds and the lock screen is on for 30 seconds, the timer will trigger. If you block it manually, it will also work.

The problem has been going on since 2013. In iOS 14.5, Apple said that they fixed the problem with receiving mail. On March 29, the APNS certificate was updated, but this did not solve the problem. If my Internet is turned off, I receive an email to iCloud mail in the standard mail app, including the Internet, when I wake up in the morning, I do not receive notifications. I need to open the mail manually and pull the screen down. If a new email arrives during the time when the Internet is turned on, it pushes through the old notification and a new one comes out. In 2021, push doesn't work for Apple mail.

Unable to create icloud mail. Settings-Apple Id-iCloud-turn on the toggle. I create a login and an error in activation.

Apple has had Mail issues for a good while now with sporadic “fix” claims.
Maybe iOS15?

Maybe …

WTF 🤯, and I thought Mikes disappearing iMessage bar was bad. 😆

Ha, ha. That would be a fine thing, but I won’t hold my breath.
Anyway, sorry to hear many are still experiencing various issues with the stock mail app. As I mentioned earlier, mine started to work correctly with 14.6 b2, and is still okay - as if time of writing this. Of course, now I have jinxed it, and I am sure it will break again in the next day or two 🤣🤣

is your mail app working good now?

Yes it is, touch wood. Surprised the heck out of me when i installed 14.6 b2. Quite frankly the only issue I was having was that it would take up to about 20 seconds to refresh. Now it takes 2. Yes, two. Open app, pull down, updated within 2 seconds. Badge, notifications, syncing across devices - all work. But I must admit I rarely use the iPad, or Mac to go through my emails. I mainly use the IP12PM.

Edit - push consistently working too. MS Exchange and iCloud accounts. One of each.

If I have push I needn’t open mail app. I woke up, turn on WiFi and get push from telegram and twitter. I don’t open these apps

On my iPhone 12 yes, it is happening just like in 14.5.1.
Reinstalled 14.6 beta 1 and scores are back to normal.
Restarted my phone before, scores have gone to crap 😂

Not noticing any difference in performance though, I’ll wait for 14.6, shouldn’t be to far away.
