If I have push I needn’t open mail app. I woke up, turn on WiFi and get push from telegram and twitter. I don’t open these apps
Understand and agree. Confirming I get push all day every day for both accounts - no opening the app. Just saying that IF I open the mail app and pull down to refresh, it now takes up to 2 seconds, whereas it used to take much longer.

Try to send to your mail turn off WiFi and turn on in 30 min. Push will be broken

I turn off WiFi and then turn it back on later, regularly when testing T-Mobile 5G speed from home. Often forget to turn it back on, but push still works - on cellular AND WiFi. Even after turning it back on.
From all the posts about mail being broken, it seems that not everyone suffers from the same issues. Maybe that is why Apple is finding it so hard to fix…..

So.. For test u need to turn off cellular data and WiFi for 30 min. And send to yourself an email. Then turn on WiFi in 30 min. There are the same cases in discussions apple

Okay…… is there a fix if I do this and lose push??? Otherwise I will leave it well alone, and keep my existing push functionality, thank you.

These actions can test. Will push work after 30 minutes without WiFi and cellular or bot. Can you try it?
Sure, these actions can test. But if it does break push, then how do I get it back? Hard reboot? What? Or is there nothing that fixes it?

It’s important for test this problem

Perhaps, but should only be done by someone using a device that is not their primary device.

(And, no, don’t quote Apple’s warning that everyone on a beta should not be using a primary device. We know that 80%+ of beta users are using their primary device).

Agreed. It’s too important for me to keep push working. That’s why I asked about a possible fix. “If it breaks then it worked incorrectly and I didn’t know about it”. Really???

Okay. I’ll try it myself. U have a lot of questions. And yes. If u have bug with push now after test will have the same.

Yes a lot of questions. Because I was not confident you had a fix for me if the app stopped pushing mail, when I tried your test. And sure enough, you don’t. Feel free, try it yourself - but I’m not sure why you would especially as you said there are lots of reports of this happening on the Apple forums!!!
Moving on….

Your words isn’t truth. Push doesn’t fix in 14.6 b2. I tested

I assume you have reported this via Apple Feedback? Otherwise, speaking for myself, I think we’ve spent enough time on this topic and we should move on.

Seems my 12 Pro has become a brick. Phone refuses to load any data even after several restarts. It's also showing it's connected to Wifi in Settings yet the icon never shows in the status bar. I've tried loading two different news apps (Reuters and Newbreak), webpages in Safari and searching within Maps. Despite all of that, text messages are going through normally.

So annoying.

Edit: Reset all settings did not fix the problem.
Edit 2: Aaaaaand erase all content and settings doesn't work. I'm about to find a garbage disposal for this piece of ****.
