If we’re getting it this week, then today or tomorrow. I reckon we will. Tho I’m off the beta train until 15.0 b1, when I will spend a few hours after the keynote claiming I won’t hop back in, but will cave on my iPad until I’m confident that my iPhone won’t have any issues for day to day 😂
Most likely be joining you 😂 iOS 15 sounds like it’s going to feature packed for the iPad, won’t be able to resist installing it on M1 mini led iPad 🤦‍♂️😂

Beta always has that out of whack. It’s not reliable until you roll onto a public release and allow a few days for it to sort itself out, from my experience

for me that’s not true. I lost 2% battery health in 14.6 betas. And when I installed the RC, it stayed the same.

Now I’ve just lost another 1% on 14.7 B1.

I've been a beta tester for a long time, and for the last two years on my iPhone 8 plus mobile my battery health as of now is 88% while still supporting peak performance.

I never did a beta on my launch 11 Pro and with regular updates I was at 94% before 14.5. The 14.5 recalibration for the 11 series got me back to 100% 😂 🤷🏻‍♂️. This kind of questions the iOS battery accuracy with iOS 14.

In my experience I have great battery on 14.7 than 14.6 RC 1 and final.

what phone you got?

battery is whack on 14.7 B1 but then it’s a beta so expected. We won’t know truly until the official build is out.

battery on the 14.6 RC was solid on my 12.

by the way, I’m back on the official build 14.6. Stressing me out my battery health dropping quicker than a prostitutes knickers.

(Hope I don’t get told off for that one. It’s one of my favs)

You might see me around iOS 15 B3 if it’s not a big sack of poop still.

p.s no over heating when in safari on the official 14.6. So official builds seem to fix that. Over processing generating the heat on the back on my phone in betas whilst using safari, I think that’s the cause of the battery health dropping in my situation.

On 14.6 official release now, surfing this forum, and my phone is heating up as I type. Only seems to happen on this forum though. As soon as I leave for another site it starts to cool down. I think something is jacked with the forum - maybe the ads are hacked?

iPhone 11. My phone heats up a lot since 14.5.1 to RC 1 then the final version which is RC2. But not frequent on 14.7.

I have the Apple leather case on which leaves a tiny gap, and press the phone against the TV and it didn’t hang on any color; finished in like 10 seconds.

I got it to complete the other day. For whatever reason, nothing I tried worked. Finger tip space, angles, moving it around, even holding it the screen.

Then the day after my post, I tried one more time, this time holding my phone from above (rather than kneeling in front of the tv) and it worked. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes, exactly the same. Phone gets really hot, keyboard volume fluctuates and the screen dims. As soon as I leave this site/forum it returns to normal. I’m on 4.7.

And that time (for me at least) is usually measured in hours!

Anyone else’s battery health keeps going up every time you hard reset your 11 Pro?
It was 92% a couple weeks ago. 95% this morning and after a couple hard resets it’s at 96% now. Never knew I could increase the battery capacity with just a restart. All these years I thought a battery replacement is what got you up to 100%🤷🏻‍♂️

Did you check to see if the battery recalibration feature was running on your 11 Pro? THAT is probably what is kicking your battery back up. I just wish they'd enable not for the 12 series so I can see if it gives me back some of the 8% I have dropped.

The calibration was done a long time ago, a little over a week after it was introduced.

Happens to me too. From 86% to 88%.

By the way what percentage do I need to do a battery replacement?

As you poms say, battery health is a un accurate load of bollocks 😃 wouldn't trust it.
