beta profile for WatchOS 7 too?

Not sure how I feel about a V build... I'm usually team the letters don't really matter (because QA surely looks at certain things twice when they find a show stopper the first time around, right?? And an A build can technically have unnoticed game breakers too)... but V is so far down the alphabet this gives me iOS 7 vibes... which scares me.

But it was already clear that this'll be another rough path down beta lane with all the big features they introduce... I mean how can this be a smooth ride with dozens of redesigns and big under the hood changes?

Beta 1 of iOS 10 was also a „v“ Build. And iOS 10 is considered one of the most stable versions of iOS ever.
Besides: beta 1 versions are never intended to provide a smooth ride. If you want some kind of a smooth ride and yet join the beta train, wait for public beta.

Just say you are unsure if you want to install this or not. 😁

Giant leap forward, they said.

Take note of the known issues.

  • Important: Updating to iOS & iPadOS 14 beta from previous versions of iOS & iPadOS might take significantly longer than expected. Data loss could occur if the update is interrupted. (59101197)
  • macOS Big Sur 11 beta or Xcode 12 beta might be required to sync or update devices running iOS & iPadOS 14 beta.

Good to know. I want to dip my toes into the new SDKs but I gave away my Xs so my 11 Pro Max is the only iOS device I have left...

I absolutely want to, I just fear it's a dumpster fire. I'll sit it out for 1-2 days to check out reports (not that that is any performance indication... betas usually start to **** the bed on my devices once they're installed for a few days).

I hope a lot of brave thrill seekers report their experience on here.

Acquired development beta profile, checked for updates., says it's Public Beta (which we know it isn't) and am thinking if they're getting the really visible stuff wrong, what kind of issues are awaiting me in the actual beta.

So, can someone else please update first and post how well it works? I'm waiting and impatient. I so want to click "Download and install" and say how cool Mail is now.

i know it’s technically WatchOS related, but could someone with a Series 4 who installs the betas confirm if the new Sleep app is available or if it’s just limited to Series 5?

I have the iOS14 profiles on both my iPad and my iPhone. Both are downloading now and show the update as the developer beta.

My iPhone is currently installing the developer beta from the original beta profile link. Now that there’s an updated link, what does that mean for me?

I guess you don’t need to be a paid/subscribed developer to download betas... I wish I knew that last year lol
Do you use the developer tools and actually develop apps?

Side note: Are there actually people who pay $100/yr to only download the buggiest and most unstable versions of new OSes a MONTH before more stable, FREE public betas are released? Because that would be... interesting. o_O
