LTE not working properly on iOS 14 for me, some apps working only on WiFI. Safari - can't load any page.. anybody with similar problems/maybe solution?

Do you have a smart battery case? Is your phone low on power?

I was having major problems with safari, like it wouldn’t load any page, and it turned out to be an issue with the smart battery case when it was running low on power.

Have no idea if it is related to your issue, but safari and all web apps just stopped working and I took it out of the smart battery case and everything worked again.

I just tested this on my Xs Max with Low Power Mode inside the Smart Battery Case. No problems at all with cellular data. I am on Verizon FWIW.

Oddly enough, for some reason emoji search isn't showing up for me. I've tried rebooting, removed & readded the keyboard but it just doesn't show.

Any workaround for the storage issue? My iPad Pro 64GB is freaking out lol.
My guess is wait and see what happens in the next beta. I could almost swear I dealt with this storage issue with the iOS 13 betas as well. It started off taking a ridiculous amount of storage, and then each following beta got progressively better in that aspect. So I guess we’ll see!

How low does the case need to be to start the issues? I can test it tonight on my 11PM with the smart battery case.

But was the smart battery case itself low on power? I’m on Verizon, and I have a 11 Pro Max. Reset network settings, safari cache, turned off Siri, low power and low data mode, nothing worked.

But the smart battery case had gotten in some loop that was killing my phone. Hard to say what caused it exactly as I don’t have visibility to debug it.

Yes, some earlier betas had a similar issue.

My language (Turkish) isn’t listed on the “New voice in more languages” bit on the All New Features page, but they’ve completely revamped the Siri voice on iOS 14 and added a male one too. It’s simply the most natural sounding TTS voice I’ve ever heard in Turkish, mind blowing. So yeah, if you're speaking one of those less popular languages, there’s a chance that Apple added a new voice!

The case is currently below 50%. I'll try again when it's depleted some more and report back.

That’s the thing, they took away the percentages, so I don’t know. It was in the red almost out though. Maybe 15%?
Weird the widget I use shows the %s. I think It's the 4 wide one. I know the 2x2 one doesn't. Hoping later you can resize them so I can have the one I'm using half as wide since the third and fourth slots are useless to me since I have no other accessories.

Its been a thing since iOS 11 Betas every year I always keep forgetting its a known issue XD

I'm also having an issue that I had last year and with iOS 12 betas. I have quite a few albums and use iCloud photos on my phone, iPad, and Mac. After installing the betas, ONE album disappeared from my library. All of the pictures are still in the library, it's just the album these ones were in is not. So ok, easy fix...just create the album again and re-add the photos. No biggie. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I'm not running the beta on my Mac.

I'm actually making a Feedback report for it now, but I wonder if it's not so much a bug as it is like a "failure to communicate" between devices. Maybe a compatability conflict between the beta software on my iPhone and iPad, and the current official public release on my Mac. Although an argument against that thought would be that that same album also disappeared on my Mac as well. Just seems odd that of all the times this has happened over the years during the betas...it's always been one album. Never more than that. And again...all of my photos are in the library. The total count matches up, so I didn't actually lose the photos themselves. I might just treat it as a blessing in disguise though because I kind of wanted to re-do my albums anyway. This just gave me a reason to do it 😂

Oh geez, it's an actual known issue?! Haha I must've read through the notes too fast and missed that 😂 All I knew for sure was that it was definitely a known issue for me 😂

It may not be supported on the A10-series chips. My 10.5" has the same A10X yours does but I have the jailbreak tweak to play 4k and it can chug sometimes due to the slow processor.

Can anyone with a home button-less iPad confirm that they can play 4K HDR content on YouTube with the latest app build? Conversely, anyone with an iPhone 7 do the same?
My fault, I have an iPad Pro 12.9 Gen 3 with A12X. Maybe it’s only available in some countries for now.

Yeah I missed it at first too LOL. I was so angry I couldn't monitor the percentage of my case anymore. That and the Lightning Charge port are the only two reasons I picked the official Apple case over a third-party.
I like that it bypasses the phone and draws power from the case first so you save cycles. And it feels nicer to hold.

For those on iOS 13 with Mail issues, I’m thinking about filing Feedback thanking them for fixing (I think?) all of my issues. Before installing iOS 14 today, my Mail app (again) was showing “Checking for Mail...” for about 3-4 hours. Hadn’t updated my iCloud Mail account at all... The first thing I checked was the Mail app and it updated immediately. Checked a bunch of random folders, all updated right away. I’m sold on iOS 14 for this alone. But, as always with the Mail app, YMMV...

Currently unable to get my BMW to pair with CarPlay wirelessly. Get a ‘Unable to establish connection’ error in the car. Anyone else?

glad yours is working. Unfortunately I’ve come across a bug with other users reporting the same.

An Erase and Reinstall took care of this issue for me back late last year. It was driving me up the wall. I can't believe it still hasn't been completely fixed.
