Same. Hard reboot did nothing. I went from 69GB used to 125GB used after I downloaded the beta. I'm sure it will be sorted out soon.

The Feedback app is reporting “More than 10” for the FB I reported. I’m not too worried about it considering it’s the only problem I can find at the moment that’s “bad”.

I love this. It’s the little things sometimes.

Phone call notifications are just a drop down when the screen is on but it still stops video recording. 😔

iOS 13 public beta 1 had the same storage issue. I’m not sure if it was the „others“ there too. I’m sure it will be fixed with the next beta

I agree, although I have a glimmer of hope they will eventually... I checked a feedback ticket I submitted in December (mail slow to appear), and I noticed that they acknowledged over ten people have complained and that the resolution status is open.

Although we all know how long ‘eventually’ is on the Apple timescale.

What was the feedback issue? I’d like to know what they will completely ignore

This is strange. One of my feedbacks. It says the file isn’t available. I hope Apple can see them.

That may be a feature not a bug though. Do you really want to record the audio of your phone call if you take it? That seems like a privacy thing. If you are concerned about this happening while recording, just activate do no disturb.

Can anyone verify if notifications for automations can be turned off?

They cannot be turned off.

They are annoying, to be sure, as we’d all like a more automatic device but Apple is very cautious about these, as they can raise definite security and privacy concerns

A number of automations, though, have gained the ability to run without notifications. See the list below:

I updated my new SE to iOS 14 and all the apps appear to be working. The weather widget doesn’t work properly but, that will be fixed. Are there any real problems with the beta on the ipad pro 11 (2020)? I am thinking of updating by new iPad Pro 11 to iOS 14 to use the Scribble feature.

If I install iOS 14 on my iPhone, will it work with the Apple watch or should watch be also updated to the latest Watch OS 7 beta?

I’m not having any issues with my iPhone working with my Apple Watch, either.

I’m not even sure you can restore an Apple Watch, right? Do they still need to be shipped in for a restore?

it will work. I've been running iOS dev betas for over 10 years... never done a watch beta.

I ran a watch beta once and remember being stuck on that beta until release.

Exactly. I can get back from a really bad iOS beta... but only Apple can get you back from a bad watchOS beta... not worth the risk for me... the app I work on is iOS/iPadOS only... no watch components, so no need to go there.

Had a bug last night where the text sound went off but the text didn’t show up in messages for a few seconds after it. Anyone else?

okay I just noticed this now and I can’t stop thinking about it cause if a little OC. The name/contact picture is not centered, they do not have the same amount of space on each side. sksksksksks

Sometimes they’re impromptu videos. I was hoping since the phone call notification is a drop down it could just be dismissed with a swipe up without stopping the video.

Yep. One thing i just noticed in messages is my daughter send me a one word text, and a speech bubble appeared over her avatar in the pinned-conversations, with the one word in it, and it lined up with her mouth. I knew about “...” appearing there, but not that the actual text could appear there.

I read today that changing the default apps isn’t possible yet in the first beta. I don’t have it. I just read that in an article.

Apps have to go through review for that purpose. Hair force one explained that apple doesn’t want scam apps to install as your defaults. And apps will have to comply with apple’s rules (privacy, etc.)
