i did a restart and they're now staying dark in dark mode for me

Edit 2: now the widgets are dark in light mode on my iPhone. I give up trying to figure out a pattern.

Edit: they stay dark on iPadOS until you lock and unlock the device. Then they're back to light.

They do for me too but only on iPadOS. On iOS they stay light, even though I've rebooted multiple times.

Rebooted twice and it’s correct on the Widgets page but wrong on my home page.

Weather still unstable for me, especially with Current Location selected. Interestingly under Privacy>Location Services>Weather. The option for Always has returned but then seems to disappear.

I don't know what happened but "Up Next" is missing from my widget list 1-2 days ago (when I noticed) and is still missing after updating to Beta 2.

Anyone knows what's going on and how to get "Up Next" back?

Apple Music app crashes instantly when clicking the “search” button. Hard restart, still happening. Only happening on iPhone 11 Pro Max. iPad Pro 11” (2020) music app not seeing this issue.

Anyone had a issue with their iPhone charging since the beta 2 update?

Plugged it into 2 different chargers and now it doesn’t show that it’s charging. It was charging whilst doing the beta update process

I think I should file a bug report that 'Preparing Update...' takes longer than I like and doesn't make me happy.

Widgets are just an extension of your installed apps, and the developer has to build it. It’s possible Apple might include some kind of “Cool Apps with Widgets” section or similar once iOS 14 is officially released.

Agree. My USAA app refused to run on my iPad now because of this. It’s not life ending but it is irritating.

Has anyone’s storage gone back to normal after settled in? After 30 mins and rebooting my iPad Air 2, the storage was 15/16g now it’s 12.1/16g so it freed up space. I have not installed iOS 14 on my iPhone X yet

edit: actually it even freed up more space.Available storage now is 11.8! It started at 15.1

Really? One of the first things I noticed about Beta 1 was that the “Up Next” widget was gone and we were left with the “Calendar” widget. Odd.

The widget spacing on the Widget screen seems to be slightly worse, causing less content to be shown at the bottom of the screen. I wish they would tighten up the spacing for widgets in general!
