iOS 14 Beta 5 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

I don't see the bug I have.

When asking Siri through my Airpods to call someone, there is no audio. Even if I take my Airpods out, there is no audio at all. I have to disconnect the call and call them back with out Airpods. Once connected, I can put my Airpods in and the audio is fine.

Anyone else having this issue?

I’ve been getting an updated and improved weather widget starting a few days ago. Makes me wonder if it is behind the scenes tweaking. It is also much more accurate and that also started a few days ago.

Yeah just tested here and uploading pictures worked fine but creating stories shows a black screen here too
 
The ability to post a photo to your instagram story has been broken. It simply posts a black screen. This is going to be an annoying 2 weeks.

Widgets are still a complete cluster on the iPad Pro. The Weather Widget constantly shows blank info and the widgets appear and reappear out of no where. 5th Beta in and I thought this would improve. I get the feeling this is going to be an ongoing issue with Widgets long after the final OS 14 is released.

Ouch, that's a nasty bug. Curious to see if it's IG's or Apple's fault, though. IG is on a weekly update schedule, every Monday. Maybe we're lucky and won't have to wait 2 weeks.

Bug. Mine is like this


The gap between the home tiles and the others is a lot bigger then B4

yeah - I’ve had this since beta4.. is it still in beta5, oh dear.

I see that working in the previous beta aka last public beta its because of YouTube 5.33.4 updated 2 days ago, not this new iPadOS 14.0 beta. 4K on a 2019 Retina iPad mini looks great.

Same here. Unless my eyes are messed up, that looks like the regular darkish yellow it’s always been.

Any update on this?

Receiving phone call with AirPods Pro connected is not possible. Specifically, receiver cant hear caller’s voice and vice versa.
